Used this company to dig a French Drain and connect downspouts and sump pumps' drainage pipe. Did a good job but the entire drain settled and wash away leaving gravel all over my yard and some of the lining showing. Called Christian Waters and he stated this was normal and reminded me he told me that I needed more topsoil, which he said he would bring but that he is really busy with other jobs and would return in 2 weeks. Called him again, he stated he would come the next week on a Sat. Christian called and was planning to bring more dirt but I asked that he wait because all the rain had the yard soggy and his trailer and wheelbarrow would tear up the yard. Christian said he would come when the rain stopped and give the yard enough time to dry out. As of this day it's been well over a month and I have not heard from him. In the meantime, I, a 72 year old woman, filled in the entire trench with topsoil and sand to ensure not more washing when it rained and it work. I. Alone, put out over a half ton of dirt/sand. After the dirt settled, I then put out 35 rolls of sod. DO NOT PAY HIM UNTIL YOU ARE SURE CHRISTIAN HAD INSTALLED ENOUGH TOPSOIL OVER THE DRAIN. I HAD A MESS. ​​ read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE (shocker after reading other reviews - wish I could rate zero stars). The extremely unprofessional customer service of Megan, Tina and Kelly is unacceptable. Do not waste your time and money with this business. I was hung up on 3 times because I asked to speak to an owner or a manager. I booked sprinkler winterization with them as I have the past 5 yrs and it's the same drill - water is off in the house, controller is in the garage, door is unlocked. Megan calls me and asks if anyone is home of which I asked why I would have to be home to winterize sprinklers and instead of explaining why, she accused me of being snippy (lol). I replied back that I am not being snippy, the water is off in the house and the controller is in the garage, door unlocked (they've done this 5 yrs in a row and installed the sprinklers - just some history) OF which I explained over a week ago when I booked their service. Megan hangs up on me, I call back and Tina answers the phone and I inquired to as why I was hung up on and which to talk to a manager and or owner and she hangs up on me. I called back again, Kelly answers the phone - she actually was much more professional but could not answer my simple question of why I had to be home if the main water was shut off, controller is in the detached garage, door unlocked. So, I simply asked, are you going to complete the job or not of which, she replied, "no" and hung up on me for the 3rd time. Pros: Professional, Answer phone and return phone calls promptly, polite, helpful and work fast. Cons: Expensive!!! Didn't have everything right the first time around. Had to walk around with them and had to have them readjust a few sprinkler heads when they already adjusted incorrectly. In a bind, if you need some one to come out, their lead times are shortest out of six vendors I called. Had two guys come out to replace one sprinkler and look at all 8 zones. About 6-7 sprinklers were adjusted, however costs over $100.00 just to get them to come out! However, Joe and the other guy I spoke with were helpful, quick, arrived early and were professional. Although, very expensive, it's summer time with LONG lead times and seems they did a good job. read more

I would give zero stars if it was an option! We used their services last minute for sprinkler winterization. Received the invoice in the mail, sent a check and moved on. Four months later I receive a final demand from an attorneys office. NEVER received a call, email, or mail from this co regarding payment. So far, no good. We hired H2O last month to install a new irrigation system. They first came out on 5/20/20 to start the job. After installing the system, they discovered that due to our low water pressure, they would need to install more zones than originally estimated. So our price of course went way up. They agreed to a more reasonable price, however now they are holding us hostage and are refusing to come back to finish the job until two weeks from now - absolutely ridiculous! It will be a full four weeks from start to finish (if they do come back when they are now saying they will). Project manager stopped answering our calls, and attempts to resolve this with the owner were to no avail. What kind of company starts new jobs without completing in-process work? I'm sure it is because they know we have zero options at this point and we are stuck. We invested thousands of dollars in plants that are still in pots because they installed lines exactly where we told them we were planning on planting, and the plants we were able to get in the ground are dying due to lack of water. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We had our system installed on Nov 15 2018, I didnt get sod until Sept 2019. They came out and turned the system on. I ran system for 2-3 weeks then had a different company winterize because H2O charges a ridiculous amount. Now to spring 2020, I turn on the system and there is a pinhole leak in the weld on the brass elbow joint. They want to charge me to come out and fix it because apparently my warranty is null/void because I had someone else winterize it. I spoke to 2 different people both of whom where extremely rude, the second hung up on me. So they did a poor weld job and you want me to pay more to have you come out and fix it, stating "my guys don't work for free"? FUCK YOU H20 Irrigation. Have some pride in your work and take some responsibility. read more

Update... After a season, I have so many patches of dead grass (and I water and fertilize regularly), that I realized there simply aren't enough sprinkler heads to hit all parts of the grass. Some areas are overwatered, while others are completely missed. I have had Mike's team out to adjust them, there just aren't enough heads covering the areas. There's a good reason why other reviewers have repeatedly given him one star. I really hate when business owners treat you like crap repeatedly, and then come on Yelp and try to act like they were professional, polite, and took care of all the issues. It's plain BS. Nothing changes the fact that the sprinklers were installed poorly... basement leakage, sprinkler heads pointed at the pavement, overshooting and missing the grass entirely. read more

called H20 to install a new zone on my system. While they were here one of the employees stole from inside the house.To top it off I'm not sure the zone was installed properly. I called the office to explain about the theft however never received a returned phone call to acknowledge or apologize. So if you are looking for a company to literally rip you off....H20 is your company to call. Sure enough the zone installed was done incorrectly and had Maddox irrigation fix the problem. The worst sprinkler company. Worked on my system & did crap work. Left a mess & the system is leaking. Well water leaking on my brand new patio and they couldn't care less. They also put the faucet connected to the sprinkler system on upside down. Totally facocked work. The office was incredibly rude when I called to get someone to come out and fix. Called for sprinkler activate and a few repairs. 2 guys that came out were rude, blew off just about all my questions, instead of repairing one broken head, simply "capped" it and said this should be just fine, didn't adjust the flow through the lines, bottom line...were in too big a hurry to get to next job...calling another company to to do it right. read more

I have had nothing but problems after a great service installation. To make a long story short, I paid Bob and his crew to move sprinkler heads back onto my property because they were installed on the vacant lot next to me. Except he didn't complete the job. When I asked him to move the one sprinkler head that his crew missed, he gave me a hard time about it and then said he was going to charge me...after I already paid him. The service contract couldn't be any more clear. Also, watch his crew. Here's what happened.when I had them repair a sprinkler head. They dug out the broken one, put a new head on, took the broken parts and buried them under the sod they dug up. I don't recommend this company, but if you don't take our recommendation, make sure you watch the crew closely. read more

Didn't properly aim/align sprinkler heads as part of spring activation and refused to come back out to do so without a charge because "it's been too long" since activation (it's been 3 weeks...we didn't use the system for the first 2 weeks after activation due to mild and wet weather). Called for winterization. They said they could add me right away because they had a crew 2 miles away. After they did the blow out they then tell me it's $60!! I called to complain but Mary told me that's what they charge. I asked why they don't warn people that they are double EVERYONE else and she said that she doesn't say anything ahead of time if the people don't ask. Never thought to ask...winterization is $25-$30. Depends on which company you use. I was fine either way. How are we supposed to know that they would DOUBLE the going rate of everyone else in the industry??? read more

H2O irrigation did our new sprinkler system last year. They were priced great and really do a great job with all the follow up. They came out after we laid our sod 2 times to make sure we had no brown spots and were getting full coverage, they did this on their own not at our request. They added an extra head at that point at no cost because some sod was starting to dry out. They have since winterized and now opened our sprinklers back up for this season. Zero complaints. The equipment and heads that they use are also really good quality rain bird. I would recommend this company. read more

This company was great to work with. I bought my house a few years ago and never used the sprinkler system because it needed some serious work done to get it running. They came and spent the day replacing broken pipes, new vacuum breaker, etc. Now my sprinklers work great. They were very upfront with their pricing. It would be nice if they gave a timeframe of when they will be at your house, but not a big deal. read more

August 1st 2015, Just had service people out today. Have used H2O to do winterization for the past 2 seasons. I start up the system myself every year but hire out the blow out work. This year I didn't turn on the system until June 20th or so and found a leak. They came out today, looked at it for a few seconds, and said I broke the backflow preventer and it would cost $93 for the first 1/2 hour plus parts. I said it should be warrantied since they blew out the system. The guy said " We're outta here" and just left. I called into the office and waiting for a call back. They improperly started up my sprinkler system in 2017. They took $140 and never fixed it. Mary eventually stopped calling me back. Mike did not show up when scheduled. I went with another company and it cost me $360 to fix their mistake. Go with any other sprinkler company than H2O. read more

I've had an awful experience with H2O Irrigation. H2O installed our sprinkler system in 2014. In June 2015 we noticed water coming out of the ground around the sprinkler plumbing. We shut off the water to the sprinkler system and called H2O. They sent out a couple of guys to fix the problem at no charge because the system was still under warranty. The guys fixed the problem and told me that whoever installed a coupler either tightened it too much or used too much teflon tape. Today, August 4th 2015, a guy from the Chesterfield Township Department of Public Works came to our house to tell us that we had used an extraordinary amount of water. He said our bill is going to be $600 more than it should be. When we reviewed the usage chart it showed a spike in usages from when we had the leak. I called H2O to tell them about this and asked what they could do about it. Their response was that they would not do anything about the high bill, they stated that they fixed the problem when we informed them of it. Since the leak was underground, we weren't aware of the leak until we saw that the ground was wet and water was coming out near the pipes. There is no telling how long the leak was going on underground and getting pumped out by the sump pump. H2O does not stand by their work and is happy to let their customers pay for any mistakes the H2O installers make. We would not recommend H2O to anyone after the bad experience we had with them. read more

The guy doing the snow plowing for our sub drives a H2O irrigation truck. He does a crappy job! He leaves snow a foot to 3 feet from the curb on both sides of the road, piles snow on the corner intersection in front of our home so that it fills in many feet of the intersection and REFUSES to plow half the drive if there is a car in the other half. He claims that he cannot safely maneuver his plow down 20' of drive with a least a foot of space on each side of his plow and an open yard on one of the sides. He demands that you pull your vehicle out of the drive before he will even attempt to plow out the drive. Then if you do, and leave it there longer than he likes, he plows your vehicle in on the street shoving snow into your vehicle at both ends! He is a bully and I would not recommend him or this company to ANYONE!!! read more
