Upon coming out, the owner gave me his opinion and recommendations which I could use to go back to my builder with. Watchman did not charge me for this and did not attempt to sell me anything. They simply advised me of some changes I could ask the builder to make as part of my new home's warranty. It's refreshing to encounter a company and owner that genuinely want to help people.

I can't recommend Simmons and especially Derek any higher. He is meticulous in laying out and building the system layer by layer. We have a 1500 gal septic tank thru one distribution box into a 20'x40' leaching field. Watching him use the excavator to clear , level , lay rocks, and leeching pipe is a sight to behold. It's like an extension of his hands. Lastly the price was very reasonable compared to other quotes received. It's amazing how wide the range was. We have a 3 bedroom split level with 1.5 baths. I finally decided I could not finish the the job myself and called some professionals for estimates. On Grade came by and gave me an estimate, I told them I had another company coming later that day on Saturday and would get back to them ASAP. The other company kept me waiting until after 5pm that day so with that I decided on On Grade. I did not call On Grade to tell them until Monday because I don't like people calling me on Sunday so I figured they may not like either. I guess Bob was not happy that I waited that long but accepted the job. He said they would get to it in around 3 to 4 weeks later. I had no problem with that since it was early October. I called the first week of November and asked if they needed a deposit. Bob got angry saying that the weather had held them up even though I had not even asked when they would start? Needless to say they never started the job last November. Once the weather got to cold to plant grass I called and left a message asking if they would get to it this year. No return call. I called again this last Friday and as of today no return call. I would think a professional business would at least call and tell me that they were not interested in doing the job any longer.
