But we couldn't afford to do all of it at the same time (Like $15,000 was the total, but our budget was $5,000). Patio looks nice - but we counted a little over a dozen bricks that have rust stains from where ever they were stored. For professionally installed, we weren't thrilled with this - but live with it. They also built a small sitting/retaining wall for us. It was the end of October 2016 - and when they cam out to finish forgot to install one brick.... (so the sides were uneven.) we were fine with waiting until Spring 2017 for them to come back. We discussed that we were not going to pay our remaining balance until the job was completed. Fair, right? We paid over 75% of total bill already..... Now that Spring is here, we would like to build up our retaining wall a little more. But everyone at Shades of Green is suddenly CRABBY at us.... and I'm not sure why. We have been nothing but nice and friendly, even though they forgot a brick last year. And now they would like to do add a bit more - it's like we are bothering them. Not like we are having them do anything for free - we are still paying them, so whats the problem. Honestly, I would NOT recommend SHADE OF GREEN. For the amount of money we did end up spending, we are disappointed in the stained bricks in our patio. You expect better from professionals. We also didn't appreciated the lack of communication between their sales staff and their installers. Not sure why they were so "GRUMPY" with us either..... We waited 6 months for the job to be finished. Signed purchase agreement in AUGUST 2016 - now it is APRIL 2017 and we are waiting for them to come back and finish.

We knew we would need to replace the roof back then due to the age (approaching 20 years). We received an estimate but it was mentioned they thought we had pock marks indicating hail damage. Even though we had had a hail adjuster look at the roof a year or two prior, they recommended we contact the insurance company again. And yes - this time when the adjuster looked we had hail damage and qualified for a new roof. Roof replacement took place during one of the heavier outbreaks of COVID-19. Why Wait Roofing was patient with the supply chain issues, our insurance company, and the entire process as we balanced out the roof replacement time schedule to be the least disruptive to the hectic essential worker schedules of multiple family members. Two years later when we needed to change to a new home owner's insurance policy, Why Wait Roofing provided us with copies of the roofing invoices for the new insurance company. Just recently with the wet spring weather, we called and they came to look at our shed (next to the house) to make sure there weren't any shed roofing issues that were possibly the root cause of some puddling in our basement.
