Things I didn't see in Causeway Bay H&M, and I love finding new things. Clean store, good items and consistent with H&M brand. And it's a big store. Love it!

That's a huge deal in Hong Kong, where space comes at a premium! All that extra room results in a wholly enjoyable, stress-free H&M shopping experience. You didn't think it was possible, did you? In addition to the well-organized fashion, this location boasts an H&M Home store on the top floor! There you'll find a slew of well-curated and affordable goodies for the home... anything from soft duvets and chic pillow covers to plush towels and rustic kitchen knick-knacks. For an upcoming Thanksgiving dinner that I'll be hosting in my flat, I purchased some place mats and kitchen items (I don't often cook, so now I'm set with the essentials). I also found a pair of perfectly-distressed slim-fit boyfriend (I know, an oxymoron) jeans that I LOVE. I arrived at the end of the season and all swimwear was 50% off. They had a sufficient amount of bikinis and a small quantity of one pieces and cover-ups. Their swimsuits are bright, bold, soft, and forgiving. The fabric is very stretchy and doesn't hug you in the wrong places. I was looking to mix things up and add a one piece to my collection and found two styles I really liked that actually fit. What's even better that instead of $600HKD, I paid just $300! They also have really cute one piece suits the bunch at the waist. These could be perfect to hide some extra pounds in the midsection. Like the swimsuits, the lingerie fabric is silky and smooth. They are made for comfort and even provide a little support. They also have a respectable amount of bras, panties, and nightgowns creatively on display. I was impressed with their small collection of travelling bra holders. They are cute, and will keep your precious bras from being crushed in your suitcase. Charmante is bright and neat which creates an enjoyable shopping experience. I walked out of this shop thinking I probably should've bought more than one swimsuit, and also that the bras are probably just as comfortable. The service here was great and I will be back when I need to update my underwear drawer.

I bought a handbag with matching cheongsam dress, a silk dress, a bangle, a wallet, a mobile case and am really considering getting more of their charming products before I leave. I also did some Christmas present shopping there and dragged visiting friends in there. The prices might be a bit shocking and still it is a beautiful and unique Hong Kong design. As opposed to the rest of them Zara is not a designer store, neither a high end brand. It's a medium quality, good design clothing and accessories' store. We all know Zara. It may be argued that it does not match in this location but I think it's great that it's there. Today I wanted to buy a bag and it was almost an emergency...I had kept an old one for way too long. As Topshop in Queensway doesn't have many bags (if any at all) I headed to Zara. None of the other stores crossed my mind. What's more: I knew I could find what I was after - a big black bag, rather simple. This season is plagued with those, with a good range of qualities and prices. I finally got Trafaluc one and I love it, it does its job and it's nicely designed. They also have some pretty brown leather bags in this collection. I did have a look at the clothes too; Zara HK is different to Europe's stores (the ones I know) in many ways...not only the design is more minimalistic and the lines simpler but it is also more expensive and it's positioning differs from Europe's. I found the current collection a little boring but still, great to have a Zara just 2 minutes away from my office!

It appears to have the same stuff and is marketed the same in the layout of the store, with the one exception that this store is all on one floor versus being on two floors in Hong Kong. Great clothes that are structured, timeless, a great price point and with the exception of anything made from merino wool (I dont buy merino wool, because I dont like how it can snag), all of the fabrics from COS have washed really well and retained their shape with little worry.
