We limped to New Life which was fortunately only a few miles from the rest stop. They weren't busy, had the right size tires in stock, installed them & had us back on the road in just over an hour. Hopefully they've come under new management or that guy no longer works there. There is no such law. He flat out lied to me and conned me. I was a teacher who made less than $30k a year. I couldn't afford four tires. I couldn't really even afford one.

So I went to Auto zone to get the oil filter so Walmart could do the oil change. Well the guy at autozone gave me the wrong oil filter and Trevor(not sure if he's the manager) went over to autozone to fix the issue so they could do my oil change. They don't do repairs, but I was looking for advice to see if it would be okay to fix later or if it was too dangerous to drive. This Walmart Auto Care center was one of the only places open on Sundays that I could find. Kelley and one of the techs (didn't catch his name) kindly took the time to assess my tires and test drive the car to make sure I could drive back safely. They suggested to get an alignment after I arrived at home. I deeply appreciate their kindness in going out of their way to help me out when they were already busy that morning! You kinda have to catch the key guy in the shop as sometimes he is out on a call. Be patient. He seems like a nice guy, programs the keys, and they never fail. I have had 3 chip keys and 4 non-chip auto keys made. I believe the cost to be fair.

Hearing salespeople talk about their clients as well as their home life including what party they were at, is not professional at all. The work was performed on my car in almost the time quoted. I was quoted an hour n a half, it was two and a quarter. Time delays should be communicated to the customer when they are waiting for their vehicle. Also service personnel should wash their hands and protect customer vehicles from their work clothes when driving them out. Dirty hands on my steering wheel, and black marks on my seats. I was wearing white pants. I have since cleaned my seats and steering wheel. It's not that difficult to respect a customers vehicle.
