I needed a snack so came to the food court for some kimbap. It was $10 for 10 pieces and hit the spot!

Excellent variety of snacks, regular food, and drinks. Store is longer than expected. Everything was well stocked (workers constantly refilling). Pleased with the variety of items offered!

BUYER BEWARE!! HMart ALWAYS does this thing with their produce where they flip them over to hide the MOLDY parts. Or sandwich the spoiled parts in between okay-ish produce. This isn't the first time it's happened to me but seeing it happen again and again is obvious they're doing this on purpose. C'mon HMart. DO BETTER. Charging $6 for two bell peppers is already preposterous, I would expect fresh for these ridiculous prices! Not buying produce from here ever again.

Hmart in NYC Korean town. It was small compared to others I visited in California but its vast selections of cooked food, vegetables, and snacks surprised me in this little space. It was jammed packed with people when I visited 5-6PM on a Sunday evening.

I love Hmart. I go all the time if I can but I prefer the Fort Lee NJ one bc they always have the best prices and variety and stuff I love even if it's not the biggest in size like Edison NJ. So w that said this location is great and in the heart of Korea town on 32nd street between Broadway and 5th avenue but bc the rent is so high as you can imagine the Manhattan commercial rental rates...the food prices are high unless there's a sale. It's not terrible bc it's definitely not cheap. But if you are in Manhattan and need some authentic Korean grocery items Hmart is the gold standard. Hmart is also known to be very clean and their produce and fruit and vegetables to be washed and presentable and the store is always kept as clean as possible with all that foot traffic so you don't smell anything bad. Koreans are obsessed about clean and I am not complaining. I really appreciate it.

H Mart, on 32nd off of Herald Square, has been a mainstay in the City for Asian foods and ingredients for as long as I can remember. This supermarket is jammed packed full of appetizing snacks, drinks, and food. If you're making some Asian dishes at home and need some ingredients, or just want some prepared Korean dishes, I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to find what you're looking for at H Mart. It's a nice, clean store, with a good eating area upstairs. Prices are a bit high, but the selection is great. I love this place, and you will too. Definitely worth checking out.

Great and fitting to have this store available in Ktown street but it's definitely overpriced and cramped compared to the H Mary's I've been to in Jersey. It does makes sense considering the central location in Manhattan. The selection of food is nice with a variety of snacks, meats, premade meals, frozen snacks, and so on. I've gotten things like the sliced beef here to do a home-hotpor and nearby friends' places. In terms of service and ambiance, the lines can be quite long so be careful for that. Additionally, the store will be very busy and walkways narrow. However, the selection is quite solid despite the limited space. There is also a second floor food court which is quite nice.

This H Mart has 2 floors: the first floor is where the groceries are, the second floor is where the food court and beauty shop are. We came around 8 PM on a weekend and it was very packed. I must say everything is well stocked, but it is very crowded inside. The check out line was very long, but it went by decently fast. As for the food court, it might've been because it was pretty late, but there was not many food options left. I still managed to get 2 boxes of the gim mari, 1 box of kimchi dumplings, and 2 boxes of vegetable dumplings. They (the items I got) were all 30% off. As for the check out, the cashier was so nice. He gave me a blind box with my food. He's very respectful and nice; amazing service. I will definitely be coming back, maybe at an earlier time.

Preferred the Soy Garlic chicken / rice cakes. Tuna sandwich was amazing as well. I would pass on the shrimp salad next time.

My husband and I stopped by this supermarket before heading home last night. Is it weird that I like checking out ethnic grocery stores? I love to see what kind of items they sell and for how much. This grocery store is an Asian supermarket and the items had Manhattan prices. They had a variety of vegetables, meats, teas, desserts, Ramen, fruits (i.e. gooseberries, longan, lychee, etc) and even green almonds. It looks like a small place but they packet so many items in the store. What caught my eye were the exotic teas like artichoke and bitter melon teas. I've seen that before. I have to try that one day. They also have wide selection of Melona bars. More than what I've seen in Costco. The service was good. There was someone guiding shoppers to the checkout counters so the flow of traffic moved along. If you haven't shopped here before, check it out.

My first time at this H Mart. I didn't think one could work well in Manhattan because of space but this store pulls it off. It's actually pretty big but the aisles are tight. Most of the shopping stuff is on the first floor. They have a hot food section right towards the front as well and upstairs as well. Upstairs is a sit down place with a decent menu and more hot food to go as well. It was pretty busy here and seems like it usually is.

I only come here when I'm in desperate need for Asian groceries. The aisles are extremely small and cramped. It's hard to maneuver around.

I'm very particular about where my seafood comes from, so I did some digging and discovered Aqua Best. The market itself has a clean, inviting feel with no off-putting odor, which is a huge plus. Their staff genuinely knows their seafood and can answer questions with confidence. Aqua Best also supplies seafood to some of New York City's top fine-dining restaurants, which speaks to the quality and consistency you can expect. I decided to give them a try and left with Bronzino, Snapper, and Gulf Shrimp. All three were superb--fresh, well-prepared help in selecting portions, and clearly handled with care. If you're picky about seafood quality, provenance, and customer service, Aqua Best is worth a visit.

I went to buy in-shell scallops and he said to "pick the heaviest ones, they have more meat" but what he really means is they're packed with sand. Funny enough, he didn't try giving me this advice the next time I went to buy and looked in the crack to see if they're full of sand. Also went to buy female blue crabs and he wanted to choose them, he spent like 5 minutes digging through the bucket and 5/6 of the crabs were totally empty inside (you can feel if they're hefty when picking). No idea why customers aren't allowed to pick their own crabs but he can dig and dig and throw them around. I'm familiar with picking seafood and gave him the benefit of the doubt two separate times before I realized he's trying to sell off the worst products and that benefit of the doubt is undeserved. He got an attitude real quick when I told him I'd like to grab my own blue crabs so I left. Spend your money elsewhere.
