It's a delight that engages all your senses. So much beauty surrounds you. Truly one of my favorite places in Elgin. The staff is so super attentive, kind and treat their customers wonderfully. I love this store so much because of the beautiful and unique items. Fran the owner of the store makes my experience pure joy from the moment I walk in. I feel welcomed immediately. I will go out of my way to shop there because I always find just the right thing and I always feel happy when I leave. This store is a beloved pillar of the Elgin community. The vendors/staff were friendly, talkative, and eager to help us gather Royal Haeger. Some vendors had very reasonable prices while others were very expensive. They wrapped and boxed our items - sadly one of our purchased pieces didn't make it in the box when we left. An easy stop if you are in the area and/or if you need a gift for just about any type of event.

The original church doors and windows are really pretty and make for a nice ambiance inside. Items for sale range from old glass medicine bottles and candlesticks to some furniture and paintings. Prices are fairly high, but that's to be expected at a place that takes time to organize and display items so nicely. The overall design/feel is a copy of many other small town "vintage" shops, but this one is bigger and was built out by someone that has more money than the the people that own the smaller versions you'll find scattered in small towns across the US. My thought is that you really won't find anything worth buying. You'll likely find yourself trying to justify a purchase that you can get cheaper elsewhere. If you're looking for typical "vintage" stuff, you'll find it for way less $ at a resale shop, but you'll have to dig around a bit and will need to clean it up. Worth it for the savings and mystery, in my opinion. I don't know if this store will last, but it sure does look nice.

This one didn't have much in the way of that, so not really much for me. But did have many other things. They have a lot of religious stuff for pagan followers and folks interested in metaphysical or occult practices. You'll find lots of herbs, athames, gemstones, books, tarot cards, pendulums, and so on. It's quite a large shop, too; two rooms and lots of space. They do tarot readings here as well. When I came here during the weekend, they were offering various services like tarot, and I think palmistry and astrological readings. I did take a look at their tarot decks because I like ones with interesting art and collect several, but they had mostly standard decks you'll find at similar shops; nothing really new or interesting for me. If you're not familiar with Elgin, you'll need to rely on GPS; this shop is on a frontage road near Judson and in an you have to get to it in a somewhat odd way, so using a digital map will probably be your best bet. Obviously I do not know the owner(s) background... so I'm reserving judgment on the use of the exonym for Romani people in the name of the shop.

When Heidner Properties acquired the Arboretum of South Barrington in 2022, we have witnessed an uptick in the abundance of new events, decor, beautiful new restaurants, retail shops & many more special events for day and evening entertainment. It's such a beautiful mall to walk around in & we cannot wait to see the ongoing innovations that continue to grow and become more successful each year. Georgio's is one of my favorite pizzerias. Wok N Fire is a great Asian restaurant. Have a sweet tooth? They have taken care of with Smallcakes and Scoops Society. The last time I went, they had a cover band performing for the shoppers. I can't wait to go back and see what I can discover next time.
