I was so excited planning our trip to Texas that I was going to get to go shopping at HEB. I was not disappointed. This one had everything and more and great prices. I wish that AZ would get a HEB. read more

Definitely my favorite HEB by a mile. The only thing confusing to me is the entrance, almost everyone goes through the exit instead of the entrance, which is about 20 ft. apart from each other. Don't get why they were built like that. You're greeted with a great smell of mesquite smoke and grilled chicken as you walk in through the entrance side, they have a good variety of grilled goodies that you can eat there. I recommend everyone to try it, they offer samples as well. They have there own grilled goodies that's a must try. I like all the selection of different stuff they offer. They just have a ton to choose from. For example, I went to buy charcoal not too long ago and noticed that they had about two 18 ft. sections of charcoal and wood chips, heaven for those who love to grill like myself. They also have a great variety of seasonings from all across the world, just fascinating. I'm a common visitor to their extensive fresh seafood section. The variety of shrimp and freshly caught fish is awesome. The fresh salmon filet I bought was outstandingly flavorful and fresh. The shrimp was also very good, had a hard time choosing from all the great variety they had. Don't even get me started with their great beer and wine selection. They have something for everybody, I was shocked to find my favorite Michigan brew by Bell's Brewery called Two Hearted Ale. You'll find the top brews from countries like Germany, Belgium, China, Mexico, England and others. You will not be disappointed! What started off as an emergency ended up being perfect! That's why I give them 5 stars! Somehow my bakery order was lost and they quickly made it up to me. If you're going to purchase groceries for thanksgiving, I recommend you come here. Yes, there will be a lot of people but which heb will have a few customers days before the holidays lol. Well if you are unsure of what appetizers, sides, or dessert you want to give during the holiday dinners, you should stop at this location. The chefs are at their stations cooking a variety of casseroles and desserts. Also, there's different stations through the store with employees offering samples of sushi, cheese, ham, beer, wine, bread, crackers and even turkey. Oh! And don't worry about being in line for a long time at the time of purchase, HEB all the lines open. (Unlike Walmart) All of the staff is very helpful, quick, and polite. read more

Shary HEB used to be the place to find specialty items that were not available in the local neighborhood HEB. You know when you are cooking and want to try a new recipe that calls for an ingredient you've never used? You went to this HEB to find it. Not anymore! Corporate has been removing specialty items from this store. So much to the point that this HEB is no longer special, just another neighborhood store. There is nothing here that you can't find at Wal-Mart's neighborhood market or your local grocer. If you need anything special you will need go to the Trenton store. That is until corporate decides to change that one too. For now I have no reason to go out of my way to shop at this HEB. read more

This is where I do most of my "big shopping." I do go to a few others, which I will also review. This location carries a lot of the items I like to keep on hand. We spend a lot on groceries--that's our main source of entertainment, haha. This particular store has a good selection of cheeses, seafood, and prime meats. Their produce is not as varied as the Trenton store, though. We're not really beer connisseurs (wink wink), so their shortcomings in that area don't really affect us. I like the fact that they have a large area devoted to non-food items, sometimes I just don't want to run all over for different things, and don't feel like tackling Walmart. This is another place that's best to approach midday during the week. read more

Tried the curbside groceries service today. Best experience ever. Selected items on website. Some items had coupons. Enjoyed being prompted when a coupon or promotion was available. Note and substitution of items was available. Left a couple of notes on meats. Checked some items for substitutes. Items were bagged well. Had one substitution of an item. I was notified by text messages and advised when I received items. Took less than 10 minutes to order online. Selected time slots. When I arrived texted number provided. Groceries were out in minutes. Took no less than 5 minutes. I didn't have any impulse purchases; therefore, my grocery bill was substantially less. Plan on continuing to use. Only negative thing is had minimal difficulty finding curbside. Super easy. Great work H-E-B employees. read more

Server/cashier refuses to provide me with a cup of water for my Rx. She claimed that they don't give water cups to customers anymore. Sad when a customer that spends thousands of dollars on groceries is refused water. read more

H. E. B. is the greatest supermarkets in Texas. This is our first visit to a "Plus" H. E. B and it definitely has many plusses. They have everything you could ever want. Added value is the name of their service, or it should be. If you can not find what you are looking for, all you have to do is ask one of the many extremely helpful employees.
