I just spoke with the floral department about having balloons made for my little's birthday today and since we are in a quarantine period, I was hopeful they could do this all via curbside... the lady I spoke with not only took care of giving me options for the balloons and helping me put an arrangement together, she ran the receipt down to the business department so I could pay over the phone and then had the balloons ready within 15 mins of me picking them up out front. She ran them out to my car and placed them in the back without any wait or hesitation. SUPER AWESOME service. Quick. Friendly. So helpful. She made my little girls day!!! read more

Came here while back roading through the hill country yesterday. I like to my reviews with on a positive note. Clean store with plenty of friendly cashiers. Excellent prices and selection. My only minor complaint and I know it's not the store's fault for this is besides my adopted son I didn't see anybody of color there. I love this store! Several times I've asked them to locate something for me, and they've always come through. The employees are pleasant, efficient and helpful, and it's very well-stocked. This Dripping Springs HEB is large, but not the largest, so they don't quite have room for EVERYTHING.... When I noticed they'd stopped carrying something that I like ("Amy's Kitchen's Spinach-Feta Pockets"), and I couldn't find them at Central Market either, I left a message on their website asking about it. I got a very nice phone call only a couple of days later explaining that since they'd added some new Amy's Kitchen's products, they had to drop that one. But they said they'd be happy to order it for me, as long as I didn't mind buying a case of 12. Well I was delighted, especially since the only other option I'd found was Amazon.com at a whopping $4.90 per pocket, when HEB charged me only $1.98 each. They were so nice to do this for me. Before I became old and disabled, I ran an errand service in Austin, & shopped "professionally", so I really appreciate a good store staffed good people, and this is one of my all-time favorites. Have shopped HEBs for decades. This store never stocked, cannot get through the aisles because f the personal shoppers and also seems to have an abundance off dogs and cats in the store. Just nasty. Staff is courteous and helpful. read more

Having moved back to Blanco from East of San Antonio, the selection is definitely different! We can adjust to that. My complaint is, WHY must your employees gather at the entrance of the self-checkout to chat?!? Do you NOT want us to use it?!? Or is Sean just choosing to continue to stand in the customers' way? We had to steer around him to get into an open register, 2 were available at the time. As we were checking out, two other employees stopped to visit with him, again at the entrance to the self-checkout 'corral'. Customers were waiting for them to move and at least one went to another register. Convenience is only as good as the ease to get to it. I even mentioned to my husband loud enough that Sean SHOULD have heard us. No "Thank You" when we left. Almost questioned if we were at Randall's. We love H.E.B. but Dripping Springs...you need to step up your game! read more

It's all great, besides a certain someone. I pretty much stopped coming here because there's this woman named Susan (I think) She's the "store manager" now, but anyways she is very rude and when she checks out me and/or other people I know, she throws around my groceries. I actually try to avoid going to her register or where ever I see her but of course theres been times I end up getting her.... I don't know what her deal is, but she needs to get that stick out of her butt!!! And be a little nicer to customers. I work in retail myself The last thing I wont after a day of rude customers it to go to a store and how the employees act the same way. I asked an employee if he could check on something for me. His response in a condescending matter was if it isn't on the self we don't have it. Doesn't even ask what I was looking for. I hate shopping at HEB and only go into this store when I need a few things as I work in Dripping Springs. HEB is the food N*zis. They push there own brand of stuff on you which a lot of it is crappy. There attitude is if they have just a few other brands on the self and sell out you will buy there stuff. read more

The people at this store and friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked (mostly). My only complaint is that it's just a sub-standard sized store. Limited selection on almost every type of product. I can't believe that HEB thought this was enough for Dripping Springs. Most of us were used to shopping at the HEB at Slaughter and Escarpment, a much larger store. Now I usually go to that store instead. When I want a more serene shopping experience, I go to the DS store. But I think it was a real mistake on the part of HEB to give us such a small store. read more

While this HEB seems pretty busy, the staff and employees are generally cheerful and helpful. I like the RedBox outside. The HEB is very large and has all of the basics, but it is not comparable to the HEB in Westlake or at Four Points in Austin. This one does not have the "Cooking Connection", speciality stations or robust deli (very few grab-n-go items to eat). If you are looking for anything other than standard groceries, you may need to head to a different store (like Central Market or Whole Foods). read more

It just doesn't get any better than HEB, and this particular location is no exception. Everything needed is always in stock, staff is friendly and helpful, products are high quality, including (especially) the store-brand products, and the prices simply can't be beat. Also, HEB is a phenomenal supporter of the community through donations and providing essentials during area emergencies (I'm thinking of the super-fast aid they provided to coastal areas during several hurricanes). read more

After 25 years, we finally have a grocery store in Dripping Springs where you can get everything on your shopping list. Our long national nightmare is over! Store is open plenty late and is pretty typical HEB, although their ready-to-eat section is smaller than some Austin branches. Few surprises here, but the convenience is very, very welcome. read more

Grocery store is well stocked and people are friendly ... BUT DO NOT USE THE CAR WASH. After paying $8 for the drive thru wash, my car was almost as dirty as before I went thru. Complete waste of money. My husband had the same experience. read more

Let me refine my last review. I do love the HEB in Dripping Springs but there is only one thing I wish they had that the one in Westlake has which is the chef station. It is always fun to get the samples and advice from the chef's in Westlake as they know their stuff! read more

I'm glad Dripping Springs finally has a large grocery store. The one prior was sad and dumpy. This grocery has a huge parking lot and is usually well stocked. It also had a small coffee place inside (not starbucks). I do feel like they could rework their produce section. It seems pretty crammed. I love that HEB has some amazing produce and they should flaunt that. read more

This HEB is the closet to my house. It's a big HEB, but for some reason, for the size, they don't carry a lot of food. Their frozen section doesn't carry a lot of varieties for Weight Watchers, Lean Cuisines, Heathy Choice, or Amy's. The HEB in Bee Cave and Circle C carry more options. The produce section is small, not many options for organic. The meat section to get fresh cut meat, chicken or fish is tiny compared to other stores. They never seem to have what I am looking for. For example certain flavors of yogurt, frozen mashed potatoes, brand of cottage cheese, lunch meat, ice cream. It's not that they are always out, they don't carry basic common items of these like MANY other stores. The store is more of a convenience for me. I never choose to shop here unless I forgot something at another store I went to or need an ingredient I forgot. I shop at Bee Cave HEB to get my items. One thing that has bothered me about this location, is the cashiers/baggers always seem to roll their eyes when I bring my own bags. Like they hate dealing with it. Since the location is in dripping springs, they carry plastic bags still. The store is fairly clean compared to some. I have found a few expired or moldy items here, but I've found those at most stores. Stuff gets over looked, always check your dates. This location is not my first choice to grocery shop. read more

Cheryl K was our checker at an express lane and was extremely effencient and friendly. The store was packed due to people prepping for Hurricane Harvey. We waited in line for only three minutes and were in and out thanks to her effeciency. Would recommend this HEB to anyone, especially if you go through Cheryl's line! read more

I really like HEB, and I love supporting the community in Dripping Springs. I have shopped at this location often, and am typically satisfied with the service. The last time I visited, was not great. The cashier made a mistake when taking my money, and I ended up at the business center for an hour. The staff were diligent in getting it taken care of, but I was disappointed with the lack of care. They knew it would take awhile, and didn't offer anything to help aleviate my frustration. When I asked for some kind of compensation for my time, they were not receptive and sent me on my way when I was obviously upset. As such, I will not return to this location. read more

The store started out great in the beginning. Now it seems every time I go which is a lot they are out of everyday stuff. I go in three to four times a week and will see the shelf is still empty! Especially in the bakery dept. The bread shelf is always empty and if you ask if there is any more you are always told "Oh we just sold out" REALLY?? Then learn to bake more if you are sold out morning,noon and evening! Also myself and I'm sure several other people here in Dripping are diabetics. They never carry anything but the same two horrible lemon and chocolate chip sugar free cookies. I would be happy if they would at least carry some of the major brands of packaged sugar free cookies. Such as Voortman and a bigger variety of Murray beside the few they carry. Honestly I think the store is ran by total morons I can not count the times I have been in the store and seen managers in a huddle discussing how this employee does this and that and comes in late. ect... I would think this type of conversations should be held in private. No wonder why the turnover is so great. I suppose my rant is over and I know HEB knows they are the only grocery store in town. But I am capable and able to shop at one of the many other HEB's read more
