I could write a book about Amber and what her massage means to me and has done for me. As a 30…read moreyear massage practitioner myself, this is hands down (nice pun!) the most thorough and complex massage I have ever received. On a cellular level, she deserves 10 stars, 100 stars, an infinite number of stars. However, make no mistake, Amber's massage isn't for the faint of heart (or sissies!) - it is brutal, intense, excruciatingly painful and can bring you to tears of agony. RESULT: phenomenal success in helping to heal scars and scar tissue from horrible injury:
I am 68 years old and on January 5, 2026, I was viciously attacked by a pack of 3 pitbull mix dogs (a mother and two female offspring) - keep in mind the horror that all 9 of her offspring were at the unfenced property (which consists of a generous 17 acres, mind you, where they have plenty of room to roam without risking human life and limb, cattle and wildlife like the deer and elk that travel close by and have the owner's permission to run freely in public space and on the county road.
I am 102 days post the mauling and as a lifetime fit and active athlete, I am still very much in pain with nerve damage, numbness, tingling, itching, and mental and emotional anguish. (and, by the way, in the state of Colorado, and with the Garfield County DA department, I am not even considered a Victim and have ZERO Victim Rights.) I am hopeful the Judge at the court hearing that the DA office willfully tried to cancel with a zero consequence plea to minimal charges, will respond otherwise.
So - on to what Amber's massage has done for me. She is absolutely dedicated and devoted to both her profession and her client. Although it is nearly impossible to breathe and not flinch at her every method and move, rest assured, your body knows she is there to heal the injuries and repair the derma, the fascia, the damaged deep tissue (I had 5 serious wounds, 83 stitches.)
It took my wonderful PT four weeks before she could even touch the scars - as they needed barely there light touch desensitization almost until I was released after the standard six sessions. She was the first one to give me hope that time can and will heal my body. With Amber's help, it will be much faster and more complete than not going through the absolute white hot pain. I have never appreciated massage more though never dreaded the weekly sessions more - having always been a "massage addict."
She has packages that can potentially be customized to each individual and her focus and concentration and instinct are unsurpassed. I cannot recommend her work more emphatically - but make no mistake, this is not 'feel good in the moment' massage. It requires tenacity and determination to subject yourself voluntarily to her relentless manipulation. She interjects once in a while that she will "be nice": do not be fooled: her nice is a normal therapist's "down and dirty deep tissue."
If and when you are ready post physical trauma and you truly want your body to heal, I recommend with my heart and soul that you book with Amber. Just don't shoot the messenger.
