This companies upper management allows you to work in a hostile work environment. They allowed colleagues to bully, harass and demean you. When you complain to the District Manager, your told " it's just the way that person is" or "I'll look into it". Nothing ever changes and the situation never gets any better. Complain to Associate Relations ( HR) and they will tell you " we don't really investigate that, we refer the information to the District Manager. And the amount of company violations allowed in this district is ridiculous!!! What a joke!!! read more

Very poor customer service and attitude when I asked about a problem with my return. Our preparer kept having to stop and ask someone else questions about our situation - they are supposed to be professionals with experience. Pricing is supposed to be "transparent and upfront before your taxes are prepared" - it was not and was quite a bit higher than I expected to pay. We will not be returning here. read more

Only reason I gave them 1 star was because I had to. I paid for my taxes to be completed and upon reviewing my taxes I found a few errors. I pointed it some very OBVIOUS errors such as my retirement account wasn't documented. I waited for my taxes to be reviewed and still heard nothing as of 4/16 and I initiated the process on 3/12 -so it wasn't like I waited to the last minute- so I called. The receptionist was rude and spoke over me. First she said she couldn't find my account and then I called back and explained that the person assigned to me was Mr. Bridges and that he passed my account along to Marwa Alerian. She said I'd get a call back from Mr. Bridges and then moments later I get an email from H&R Block asking me for all of my W-2 information. I call back a 3rd time and again the receptionist was rude and I still got nowhere. I filled for an extension and will be demanding a refund. I would have been better off using TurboTax! read more

I had a great experience last year working with Houda. I called today to see if I could ask her a couple of questions. I couldn't hear the person who answered very well, but it sounded like Houda. I asked if that's who I was speaking to and the woman snapped back at me with her name. I apologized and asked if Houda was in. She said no and asked if I wanted to leave a message. I asked if she would be in tomorrow, then she asked me something I couldn't make out. I asked her to repeat herself and she snapped back at me again. I ended up just hanging up.It is 9:30 am, how on Earth could you be in such a terrible mood first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, I can't see myself going back after I was treated like that. So unprofessional and unnecessary. It is a shame, because Houda was so wonderful. read more

My boyfriend and I had a tax appointment with this branch and we are very unsatisfied by the professionalism we received. We did not know anything about taxes and brought all the papers we would need, and we were met with an attitude about how my boyfriend didnt file right the last year and how she couldnt possibly get his taxes filed because IT WAS HER LAST DAY OF WORK. She mentioned this multiple times during our appointment, and made us feel unwanted. At one point she told my boyfriend he could amend his tax return from last year but told us she would not be helping us with that, even if we made another appointment. She did not offer any more information or ask a co worker about setting us up to get help with that. We left feeling like we had been scolded and tossed aside because she did not want to work. I have always used H&R Block, who makes alot of promises about helping people understand taxes and have never felt more unwelcome at a place. Reconsider this branch if you are looking to get what you paid for. read more
