When we got there we weren't sure if we reached the destination because no parking so we double park on a short driveway and we called the nursery. We talked to a gentleman and he said he'll come over and we can park along the residential driveway and there are staff around there in which we didn't know where? To make the story short, lots of succulents but you just need to walk to some narrow path. After 15mins there was a gentleman who came and introduced himself he was Mr. Elvis the owner the one we had spoken. I asked the prices and I was just blown away. My ears and eyes couldn't believe the prices. He also mentioned that he and his team come to all farmers market here in east bay and he even knows each name of the locations. He told us that his staff will take of us and before he left he even gave us 8 free succulents because we're first time buyers and travel this far to visit their nursery. I was ecstatically happy with all selections I gathered and at the end the total price what I paid for. Definitely recommend and I love to come back.

I was very excited to find freedom nursery today. They offer a wide range of succulents, appearing very healthy and while taking care of. Elvis was very friendly and easy to work with. The co owner of Four Winds Growers reached out to me with a solution regarding my beloved persimmon…read moretree. I had performed the scratch test and saw it was completely dead. I submitted a scratch test report and had a very short response, I had then requested to speak to the supervisor. The response I originally received was very disheartening to me as I felt I was being dismissed, not given a chance to plead my case, however after talking to the co owner, I feel differently. He was so kind and it was truly a safe space to talk to him openly and honestly about the entire experience, give feedback. He was kind, respectful, understanding and supportive. We came to a very fair solution. For that I will continue recommending four winds growers, I will continue purchasing from them. The quality of their customer service is what differentiates them from their competitors. We hit a bump in the road and they showed up and helped make me feel seen and valued. Thank you four winds. Looking back, I understand why I had received a short response, it was a Friday and the employee was probably just trying to close up and get through all emails. I'm thankful I requested to speak to a supervisor and I'm happy to know she was honest and put me through. A PSA to everyone: always speak up, advocate for yourself because no one else will. People won't always know what is wrong unless you speak up. But that isn't permission to be aggressive and mean, it just means it's ok to ask for help. Check out Four Wind Growers TikTok and IG page for super helpful tips and advice. Also their super cute dog makes appearances in their video with their famous orange tennis ball in the pot trick.

My mom has been coming to this place for years, and for good reason! The space is huge, and they have a ton of options! Everything from plants, to fruits and veggies, to water features, sculptures, and more! There is a wonderful gift shop with anything you could want for your garden to help plants grow or keep animals away. They have all kinds of fun gifts and trinkets for the garden and around the house! I wrote a nice review about this place after the first time I went several years ago, but it undoubtedly deserves an update. I have been several times since my first visit, and love it every time! The owner, Gustavo, is a true gem. He is friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking, and an overall joy to interact with. He greets everyone with a huge smile, and is always happy to answer questions and help. He works seven days a week most weeks, and is truly passionate about what he does. This past weekend, they hosted their 17th Annual Christmas Open House. This event features live music, local wine, hot chocolate and cider, and homemade pastries by Gustavo's wife herself! They transform the gift shop into a winter wonderland, featuring around a dozen decorated Christmas trees among other festive decorations! People are encouraged to bring pastries to share, and they definitely did! There was a huge table with cookies, cakes, pies, and more! They also help collect donations for the local food bank by offering a discount on your purchase if you bring a bag of canned or non-perishables. We attended this event on Friday the 6th, and it was a lovely experience! The vibes were amazing, sipping wine and cider listening to live music by some fire pits. This was my first year attending the Christmas Open House, but it will not be the last! Thank you again to Gustavo and all of the hardworking staff at Alladin! IG: @bbnem.eats

I would have given a 3 or 4 the first time I came to PajaRosa from hayward ca…read more I walked in into the cooler to pick out my roses and there was a guy helping me out choose my coral and white roses I needed for the event I was preparing for saturday. When I walk-up to the cashier later to be known manager/owner I ask him the price for the bunch, hey says they have different prices and asked me to wait and so we did. While waiting I was comparing the dress color with the coral roses and showing my brother whom is the florist if it match it really did. He comes out and says that the coral roses are not available and I asked him why if they were with the others and not set aside. He said "I didn't invite you to my cooler." I replied "I didn't know that you had to ask for permission because the last time I came I didn't." The worker had not informed me that I needed permission to enter, instead he helped me pick out the roses that later were not available to me. "Can you make an exception for this time.: He says "no, if you keep persisting I will not sell you anything. I said why? He could had offer other roses maybe another slightly different color. But he decides to pushe the cart away and said that I was annoying. Slams the window and refuses to Sell me flowers. It felt horrible and I didn't where else to go. I'm glad that I experience this incident someway because I wouldn't want to treat my customers like this at all. I understand that he may have had a bad day or just didn't like me, but he shouldn't have to treated or reacted aggressive and unprofessional. Horrible.....horrible experience been to kitayama in hayward & watsonville san francisco flower market and never ever experienced this kind of service. I felt discriminated. Bad customer-service and disrespectful.
