I wasn't so taken by H&M when it first came into the metro and even when I experienced them on a stay in Jakarta a year ago, but with a recent change in my style I've come to realize that I enjoy their women's clothing immensely, and I'm always on the lookout now for a good find among their sale racks.
When I'm in a particular mood though, I make the trip to H&M in North EDSA. This branch is a baby's shoebox compared to most other H&Ms and it isn't as artfully arranged like the others because of its odd layout. But I love how unpalatable it is to most people as I'm able to squeeze through the common dreck to find the treasures nobody notices. I've gotten a few good tanktops here I haven't seen on sale elsewhere, plus a lot of sizes on this sheer cover-up that I've been eyeing, which would only have a stock of about three in other branches.
If a good outfit's sold out at some H&M, you might find it in North EDSA--the people there seemingly dislike attractive things! There's a fetchingly burly staff person in the branch that might be drawing their attention, but if you really like to shop you keep your eyes on the prize, and the H&M prize may be found here. read more
