Had the best customer service with Adam@ H&M at High Street Kensington yesterday. While on the queue I saw some adds on the store advertising about the H&M club, that would offer 10% w/ 1st purchase.
I downloaded the app, filled in my details, the instructions on the app was that a digital card would be generated and I needed to present that at the counter, so the discount would be made. It took me around 5/10 Min to download the app, fill in all the details, when I got the final stage, it wouldn't generate the digital card, just a message saying "if it this doesn't work, please speak with a customer service representative".
I went back to the queue and Adam helped me out, I explained the app was not generating the card, he tried to help me with my mobile, helped me try to connect to the wi-fi but nothing worked.
I asked if I paid full price now, if I could go online and redeem the 10% discount after? He said yes, but also said "I don't want you to go home and have to deal with this".
He went to get the stores phone, asked me to log in on that phone, and I was able to get the digital card and get my 10% discount. He spend about 10/15 Min with me. I was so surprised with his work ethics, asked me where I could leave a review, and he suggested the iPads in store. But the iPads in store don't let you leave personal reviews, it's just multiple choice questions, hence my review here.
H&M club app needs improvement because I had problems in getting the digital card in my mobile, and on the stores mobile too.
Adam is an excellent employee, his willingness to help amazing and I believe he should be recognised for this. He is obviously an asset to the team. Thank you Adam@ H&M at High Street Kensington. read more
