I asked them to help expedite, not knowing when it would be needed and I would be flying at a days notice. Same day, I got the bad news. I called back to MW and see if they could push the alteration faster. They obliged and it was ready to go a day earlier. I can't thank you enough for the help, you guys are fantastic.

The clerk improperly measured my pant length and put the wrong event date in the system. The tux arrived earlier than promised which was great. Received a text to come and try it on and make sure it was properly fitted. Upon trying on the pants, it was obvious they were too short. The clerk "suit-splained" to me that they were the right length...The following morning, I started receiving emails that my tux rental was due back (the day before the event) and failure to return it would result in $20/day late fees. The clerk at the store told me it was "adjusted" to correct the date. As there is no one to take responsibility for correcting this error and ensuring I do not get charged an additional $60, I returned the tux without wearing it to the event and settled on my own black suit. Pretty embarring to show up to a black tie event in a non-tux. So, overall, I wasted $300+ on a suit that was improperly fitted and I never got to wear. My suggestion for anyone, is to buy a nice suit for this amount of money.

If you don't want help, tell them you're just looking and *don't* give them your size. If you give them your size, you may still get them handing you clothes, even if you told them not to. I wear an extra long, which is very hard to find and I am very, very picky when I go in there. I don't like all the fashionable jeans. I just want plain, normal, nothing fancy jeans, which is hard to find in this store to begin with, nevermind trying to find it in my size. The salespeople are very helpful and patient with me. It's a nightmare trying to find my jeans, but I don't know of any other place that sells jeans in my size, so I appreciate the salespeople being patient with me while I try to find the most plain, normal pants I can that are my size. The salespeople are very helpful, patient, and kind. I've never had much of a problem getting them to leave me alone when I don't want the help and they've always been excellent when I do need help. PS - The clothes are overpriced. No doubt about that at all. They sell sizes that others don't carry, though, so I'm stuck paying more, but it's been worth it so far for me.

And that's where it all went south. We left both pairs to be hemmed with a promise they'd be finished Monday afternoon. When we arrived *Tuesday* afternoon, they hadn't started on the jeans. And we got attitude from a guy named Carlos. Gave up and went home. A 40-minute ride. Called again on Sunday to verify they were done. Again got attitude and rudeness from same guy, Carlos. Not impressed. I won't be back, though everyone's happy with the jeans so we'll source em from the internet from now on. Meh.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE MANAGER not sure if it was Nikki or another manager .. I've never had a bad…read moreexperience at American eagle but yesterday was horrible . I walked up to her to ask about a size / length and if they had anymore or if they even had a decent stock of my size .. she simply rolled her eyes and just goes "no we don't have that " and proceeds to be clearly annoyed that I even asked her for help in the first place . Another worker ends up asking me if I need help which she does help me find my size so props to her for that I guess . As I go to leave I tell the other girl thank you for helping (it was dead silent ) the manager scoffs at me as I walk away . I'm assuming this is because I complained to the other worker about her shitty attitude . VERY MUCH MEAN GIRL ENERGY AND I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN . Her nasty attitude ruined the rest of my shopping experience and quite literally made me never want to return to that store ever again

While Hollister takes their concept of style from parent-company Abercrombie's ethos mixed with a retro-surfer fashion sense, Am Eagle is more all-American, nearly Midwestern in their approach. You won't find that much real overlap in what types of styles the two stores carry. What I really like about Am Eagle is that they carry men's extra-small sizes in shirts and overall offer a lot more variety in sizes than most stores of their caliber. Also, their website allows you to look at multiple views of all products and to trace their products to see if a certain color and size is availible in a store near your ZIP code. This is such a nice feature, because it doesn't just show if your local store has it or not, but all the stores in a certain radias. So that cute shirt you want may not be availible at the Oaks Mall, but maybe Orlando and that's nice to know in case you'll be down there soon anyways. (Am I the only person who gives this much thought to shopping?!) I don't like Am Eagle's T-shirts or hoodies very much, but their button-up causal shirts are great and they often seem to have good seasonal sales. Several friends swear by their jeans and their girls' section looks impressive too. Also, I've found the sales staff to be very friendly yet not the least bit intrusive. I'm impressed with them now.
