My only complaint is that last summer I dropped off a large bag of clothing and checked back 4 times within over 6 months and had no credit. I kept getting told they hired a new girl to take over consignment and my stuff hadn't been put out yet. Finally I asked someone to look for my stuff, I knew it had to be lost. It was, and they would only give me $30 credit for it. Based on what I had made before and the giant bag I dropped off it was worth way more. I have a hard time trusting the store now...

To my amazement the store was huge and the store had way more than I expected. Anything you need in outdoor gear and clothing this is the place to shop. Great Christmas items here. Lots of free parking. Be it gloves, head gear, scarves, jackets, backpacks, outdoor wear, boots, shoes, etc they got it all for boys and girls of all ages. The staff was so amazingly knowledgeable and helpful. I would have made serious mistakes in sizing and choice of colour if it wasn't for their attention to detail. My daughter loved what I picked out thanks to the amazing staff member who assisted me. All of them from the owner to staff have a great sense of humour and made my shopping experience not only fun but got the right choice the first go around. All the big brands are there, for kids like mine who truly play in the outdoors...hiking, camping in the mountains etc. There is no other place to compare to it without ordering from the U.S. I have particularly liked the Columbia, North Face and Merrell Lines. My son is actually on his third year with his Columbia Shorts and they have held up amazingly well. I grudginly had to make him stop wearing them as they are now too tight and no pre-teen boy should wear shorts that fitted! Since my one child outgrew their sizes, I have shopped there less often until recently when I started picking out items for my nephews and nieces too. It is a little far away from me, but worth the trip. While the brands they carry are a little more expensive than your regular box store brands they are worth it as they are technical gear and hold up better under most conditions. They have racks of sale items and other sales periodically, so they are worth watching out for.

But recently I walked by and saw a really nice party dress...perfect for the holiday season. I was in a rush though so I noted the dress and came back about a week later on a weekend. The dress was no longer on display but I found it easily enough on the rack. They had a few sizes left and thankfully one that looked like it would fit. No sooner did I have the dress in hand, did a sales woman offer to start a fitting room for me. A little pushy but after that she didn't bother me so I can't complain. I quickly glanced around the store. There was a lot going on and most of the styles I saw weren't my thing. I think they cater to a slightly older crowd (late 40's/50's +) (they did have a cruise wear section). They also have stuff that I'd consider to be a little more whimsical/unique in design which isn't my personal preference but I could picture some women I know who would love the clothes there. The dress fit perfectly (yay for in-change-room mirrors) and I made the purchase...at just a little over $100 it was a good deal on a party dress in my opinion. I'd recommend shopping at this store on the weekends as it always looks a bit busy during weekdays. Also, during the week they have live mannequins stationed at the door. They creep me out a little bit but others may not mind :)

Poor customer service. The website has the store closing at…read more8pm on Thursdays. In the last 2 weeks, I showed up on 2 separate occasions once at 6:15 and today at 5:45 both times store closed. Today (very upset) because the lights were on, 2 ladies working in the store and the doors were locked. I knocked and the moment the saw me, they went to the back room. I was trying to make an exchange which will now become a return and I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.
