I've been to this potbelly about 15-20 times over the past few years. My son loves the Mac and…read moreCheese. Today was by far the worst experience coming here in years. Overall I've been going to Potbelly since 2002 starting back in Chicago. See the attached picture and tell me if you think this is acceptable Mac and Cheese? Beyond it being runny, the noddles were not cooked. Don't serve this. I'd rather hear, sir it'll be another 20 minutes before the Mac and Cheese is ready. You think trying to serve this to a 3 year old is acceptable? I had the Italian which was fine so no complaints there. They try to make amends by offering a cookie and gave me a coupon for a free sandwich or salad. Like I said historically no major issues here beyond 1-2 times they forget the bottled water or applesauce for kids combo meal. I think maybe I'll stick to coming here on the weekdays.

I had a Mediterranean chicken sandwich, well let's say I ordered it because I could not eat it. The chicken was grey and I couldn't distinguish it from the artichoke. I was quickly creeped out and wondering what type of GMO was this on the bun. Give the in restaurant team credit, it was hot, included all listed ingredients. But the product quality is poor. Not even sure this was chicken. Yall dont pull up, unless you dont care lol

This place is awesome!!! Make a plan, drive there now! We…read morewent for lunch before driving back to Cocoa Beach. The food is amazing. We started with a meatball sub (don't break my balls) and Philly cheesesteak (yo mamma). Both delicious, hot and filled with the good stuff. And the bread? Worth the trip on its own lol. Next we tried 3 of their famous chicken cutlet tacos. Caesar salad, Alfredo and vodka pasta. Super messy and super delish. We packed more than half of all that for home. Of course we also took a piece of lemon cello cake and pack of black & white cookies for dessert. Again, both outstanding The place was busy for lunch, cute and family feeling even with a pretty long wait for the food. Fresh and delicious, we will surely be back.

I was there with my mom and my five month old daughter in a stroller, which wasn't easy. This was my first time here and the process of ordering and then waiting for your order to be called was stressful. I checked the menu online before going and there was no mention of the slice specials which I couldn't see easily from the line. I also couldn't see the slice bar or flavors available while in line so that wasn't helpful. The fountain for drinks is behind the counter so you can't get yourself a refill. Instead, you have to go through the crowd again to ask an associate to do it for you. Associates were helpful with my questions. No one was wiping tables down between customers. I ordered the Yo Adrian, Bianca slice, cannoli and lobster tail. The Yo Adrian was okay. Too much soft bread, not enough cheese, good amount of onions and some of the meat was chunks rather than shaved. The Bianca slice was primarily burnt on the bottom and didn't seem fresh which is sad considering we were there before noon. The cannoli was good. The lobster roll pastry was great; likely because it was fresh. The ice cream is in boxes, which have had the top cut off and the cardboard was wet and peeling in one of the boxes I saw while waiting in line. I think skipping the ice cream seems like a safe choice. I won't be rushing back but will return at some point to try a breakfast sandwich on a NY bagel and order a whole pie to try so it's fresh.

Despite the small strip center location, it is immaculately clean inside the restaurant as well as in the kitchen. Such a welcoming experience! I ordered the Pork Drizzle sandwich. Homemade beef & cheese empanadas were special menu items for the day...so I ordered two of them as well. This is the best sandwich I've eaten in Tampa...as well as the best empanadas I've had since living here! Do yourself a favor and get to Gonzo's as soon as you can. It will immediately land in your top 1-2 sandwich shops in the entire city. Call ahead to make sure they're open just to be safe. Thank me later...

We asked the cashier for recommendations and he mentioned the Pork Drizzler and Billy Cheesesteak. We ordered those and a side of fries. I asked for mushrooms on the side for the cheesesteak. Portions are generous so we decided to split both sandwiches. Our favorite was the Billy. The Drizzler was juicy and tasty but the Billy hit it out of the park. The fries were thick and salted just right. I will add that the service here was exceptional. Will definitely be back next time in Tampa!
