I requested that my membership be placed on hold and was later told the early termination fee would be reduced. Despite that, I was charged $275. I reached out several times trying to resolve the issue, but the response continued to be that I had signed a contract rather than addressing what I had previously been told regarding the reduced fee. My partner and I had actually planned to return, and over the years he has referred several people to Raw Fitness. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will be looking for another fitness center instead. I enjoyed working out at Raw Fitness for many years, but my experience with the current management and the way this billing issue was handled changed my opinion of the business.

Mark Lani's nutrition and fitness program has really changed my life. I have only been in his…read moreprogram for a month, but it has already made a significant change in my lifestyle from a nutrition and health perspective. There are so many positive aspects to Mark and his program. First is the VERY thorough in-take that Mark does with all new clients. You really feel like you are Mark's only client -- his entire focus is on you and your needs. He taught me so much in the initial meeting about my nutrition and the ratios of carbs, protein and fat that I needed based on my personal goals. I HIGHLY recommend Mark's nutrition program as I feel it is a key component in the success of the entire program. The meal plans are tailored to you as an individual and start off at a realistic point and then moves into progressive stages based on different levels of the fitness program. The fact that Mark's studio is private has made a huge difference for me and is the main reason I chose him as a trainer and nutritionist. Mark truly cares about you as an individual. If you're looking for the BEST in nutrition and personal fitness, there is only one choice...Mark Lani and PI4L!

I…read morerecently recovered from a back injury, which triggered a downward spiral of bad habits and negative thinking. To dig myself out of this hole, I researched local trainers. I found PI4L Fitness. Unlike other personal trainers, PI4L Fitness conveyed the importance of nutrition. I see the value of long-term, good-form, less-chance-of-injury approach to cardio and strength training. After a phone conversation with Las Vegas personal trainer Mark Lani, I was in. So Mark set up a customized nutrition plan. I don't ask why; I just do what he says. I'm only one month into my six-month commitment, but I feel better mentally and physically. Immediate changes were improved mental acuity, more energy, and generally better sleep. (Although good sleep takes more planning on my part and I'm still working on better habits around sleep). Mark is high-energy and outgoing, so I look forward to the workouts. During the workouts, he tries to explain the underlying reasons for his approach to training and eating. (Honestly, I don't care that much about why. I care about results. It's been one month. The evidence is that I fit into more of my business clothes. I think he has some long-term plan for me. Maybe with time I'll care more about the underlying concepts. All I care is that I get leaner and stronger. And I am. I'll report back in a couple months. But right now, I feel better. I feel optimistic about the ability to control my own body and my mind. The mental shift from pessimism to optimism gives me a sense of power, which I like. My downward spiral is now an upward one. I'll be honest, the program is not easy, nor is it cheap. But it works. I view it as an investment in myself, one that pays off in different aspects of my life. To me, PI4L Fitness & Nutrition Coaching offers exceptional value.

This self-defense class took place at 9th Isle BJJ (stands for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu), which is close to North Las Vegas airport. I live in Henderson, so this martial arts studio was a bit of a drive from my house, but it was worth it! I was required to sign three different waiver forms that were emailed to me before participating. This place is in a complex that's mostly office space, but otherwise it's very easy to find off the main road. The inside is literally a warehouse, so while it was a little chilly when I first entered, I didn't feel chilly anymore once I started moving around. We were instructed by Professor Junebug (?), who owns 9th Isle BJJ with his wife. While I did have fun and got a nice workout in, at the same time it was a little difficult than the last self-defense class I went to, because most of the moves had so many steps to them and it was hard to process all of them at the same time. Three other instructors who worked there helped everyone guide us step by step and correct our moves if possible. Everybody there was very friendly and helpful and they all motivated me to continue taking self-defense classes in the future.
