My entire experience has been horrible, and it's on-going. I dropped my car off for repairs on 2/20. I was told that day "it'll take about a month". I understand that was an estimate. But once the tear down was complete it changed to 6 weeks. Every single week Rashawn at Gwatney and the person managing my claim from my insurance company have told me completely contradicting things. One week Rashawn tells me "all the parts are here and the technician is about to pull it in their bay" and the next week he will say "we've got almost all the parts" WHICH ONE IS IT? I don't know who is wrong or lying, but it's now been 6 weeks and 1 day and I still do not have my car. Yesterday Rashawn called and said "your car is headed to paint. It'll be ready to pick up Tuesday or Wednesday". Today my insurance person said "it's delayed because they need to order more parts. The new estimated completion date is 4/17" So which is it? Is my car in paint or did the shop drop the ball and not order the parts and then lie to me? All I know is it's been over 6 weeks and I don't have a car. The damage does not warrant 6 weeks of repair time. I HIGHLY recommend taking your car anywhere but here. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

I drive a Tesla, and this is the only Tesla certified shop in the state of Arkansas. Unfortunately someone ran into my parked vehicle damaging the back bumper. I called and spoke to the Tesla rep at this store who made me feel confident that this claim could be fixed properly. I additionally asked for a minor scratch to be fixed and re-painted on the front of the vehicle. They told me that had to order the parts for the back bumper replacement, so a few weeks later when I was told the parts came in I dropped off my vehicle. I have GPS location on my vehicle and the car did not move from the parking spot for 2-3 weeks. After about 3 weeks of my car being there, they called me and said they forgot to order one of the parts required to fix the vehicle. My vehicle sat there another 4 weeks when they called me and said the part was in. (As I am driving a rental vehicle during this entire time having to pay for gas when I usually do not have to.) The work took about two weeks once the part was in. I went to pick up my vehicle over 9 weeks after I had dropped it off when I was told it was a 1-2 week job. When I picked it up, the rear bumper looked great. The scratch repair on the front of the vehicle had a drop of paint left and smaller scratches where the original scratch was. I took the vehicle home and called the company to schedule a time to repair the paint drop. A few weeks later, I was out of town and had a friend drop off and pick up the vehicle to have the paint drop removed and scratches repaired. When I got back into town, I looked at the car and the paint drop was still there. I called the company and was told "by the manager" that it would be done correctly if I brought it back in. I brought the vehicle back into the shop for another "quick job." I was told the paint drop was fixed. I looked at the area of the paint drop and it was dull compared to all the shiny paint around it. This was the third time I had brought it in to be fixed by this place and each time I was told it would be done correctly "this time." I went back another day and asked to speak to the manager who never apologized, but said, "If I was involved from the first incident, this never would have happened. We will get it fixed." This statement made me feel the work is done correctly only if the manager is involved. I did not and will not let them touch my car again. After months of grief, wasting money on gas, calling people over and over without a call back I did get 38% refund on what I paid for the scratch repair that is still not fixed. read more

Because my insurance company guaranteed the work done by Gwatney, I went with them. While I'm fine with the repairs, it's their customer service that is abysmal. The people on the desks are not very friendly, and if you try to get an answer when you call, it's a joke. All people usually want to know is whether their vehicle is ready or not. Can it be that hard to find out? I shouldn't have to drive all the way to Sherwood to get an answer. if you are fine with this kind of customer service, this is the place for you!!! read more

I brought my car in there Monday to to get it fixed then Tuesday to came around and then they lied again and kept lying to me and now they're making me pay $250 for them doing nothing it sit in the shop and they will rip you off and lie to you I would not recommend this company to have your car fixed they will lie to you all the way read more

0 (ZERO) stars. First off, it's a damn shit show whenever you enter the lobby. No one has any idea what the hell is going on when you ask a question. Reception doesn't get relayed any information so they forward you to your case worker whom doesn't answer their phone every time I call. I was scheduled to drop my vehicle off on the 23rd of July. It wasn't worked on for a whole week, and when I asked for an update, no one knew the fucking reason why. Turns out the guy "working on my car" took another job and no one called me to let me know what was going on. Then when someone finally answers the phone to fill me in, they tell me the parts are on back order with no ETA. My car was in the shop for a whole week and a half before we even got parts in. I had to pay a fucking rental EXTRA because your logistics were shit. You better believe I'm calling to hash this out and get my god damn money. When it was time for me to pick up my vehicle my wife went in to pick it up and she noticed the exact same thing I did. She asked about our vehicle and no one knew what was going on with it. She said the mother fucker that was handling the paperwork didn't say a thing even though he was standing there listening to the whole conversation. I took my car in for an estimate and was told the estimate would be ready the next day. After a week of hearing nothing (and not getting my phone calls returned), my insurance company called and found out that I needed to drop the car off for a more in-depth inspection. He told my insurance company that the car wasn't safe to drive and needed to be towed, despite having told me a week earlier that it was safe to sit at home and drive back up there once I arranged a rental. Beginning on the day I was told it would be done, I began calling daily and was promised every day that it would be done the next day. This went on for a week. I had to call each day. He did not update us. On one of these calls, he put the phone down, and we could hear him complaining very rudely about another customer. I took my 2011 vehicle in to be repaired at the Gwatney Collision Center due to bumper damage after hitting a dog. When I got it back, I found chips all over my hood, the Ford emblem was scratched and there was grease on the inside of my driver's side door. When I took it back the next morning, I was told none of this was their fault. The manager didn't have an explanation of why this this damage wasn't noted in the inspection report when I brought it in. The answer is because it wasn't there, they are just too cheap to fix what they damage. Don't do business with them, you won't be happy! read more
