GYG real authentic style Mexican. The spicy chicken enchiladas are the bomb! Another one of my favourite is the chicken burrito bowl.

I want a refund for both the chicken sticks I have bought because this is totally a scam. I'm not buying anything from here like I don't understand how you can't cook your chicken properly but make everything good. This is really low quality and I need some compensation. Never in my life will I ever order from this place again? I don't understand how you mess up that bad. Your food is great but your chicken sticks are absolutely disgusting. After finally yearning for it for years I was final able to acquire the Timmy goodness and all I can say is that my Dad was right when he said it was "unimaginable" cause I can't imagine anything worse than whatever the fuck Tim does to those fish that can't be anything less than 4 times worse than 9/11 and 8 times worse than those North Korean torture camps. The feeling it gave was the only feeling I've had in years cause my heart medicine destroyed my nervous system and Tim destroy my will to live with how he made me his bitch by making me pay for hate crime of his chips. Any way bets food I ever tasted in my life. Lung disease was worth it. There's fluoride in the chips so the government can control your mind and make you vote Labor. They only open thursdsy through to Sunday from 5pm - 10pm, pretty decent hours for a late night appetizer :D!! The menu is at the front of the shop making it nice and easy to see what's on offer :). They had the Philly cheese steak rolls, loaded Hot dogs, loaded and plain fries and deep fried oreos :) I opted for the mushroom Philly cheese steak, love mushrooms haha!! Also got the the Philly hot dog which was a schnitzel crumbed Vienna hot dog and then deep fried .. :D, got chips and a drink with the deep fried oreos as a no brainer to order haha !! 2 mates both got the Philly cheese steak roll meal aswell & an NY Hot dog with a serving of deep fried oreos each aswell :). It was a cool lay out with libe American football on the TV to the left of the counter, 2 wooden bench table for seating, a small table ro the right of the counter with sauces/pickles to add on and a drum fire in the centre to warm up :), slightly 10 times better than those crappy tall gas heaters you see at all the restaurants everywhere these days haha The Cheese steak rolls were big and cheesy and on the tasty side .. wasn't on the hard side to scoff it down before you thought about taking it slow haha.. the hot dogs were on the average side but still not bad tasting but if i went back i would just stick to the Philly cheese steaks :)!! Last but not least the deep fried oreos, they weren't ready when we got our meals handed to us but they were conveniently ready when we had finished eating so it was perfect timing :). Is what a perfect amount of Batter on the oreos and it xame with oreo ice cream aswell :). My highlight of ths night was definitely the Oreos :D!! This place definitely kicks the butts of the majority of try hard Ameican places that have opened up in the city. The quality for the city places gets lost in trying to be the best when this place has a basic menu, the food qaulity is on point and for it being in a semi industrial area with the exception of a cafe and Italian restaurant beside it, it still got younger and older crowds, also a few families coming past for the cookies :D Also the people who were working there were super friendly and helpful :D!!
Shop front :)!! Came across when i was doing my truck license next door :D

I was stoked when I first found out that there was a Guzman y Gomez opening in Crows Nest, mostly…read morebecause my memories of the original branch in Newtown are just that good. Back then soft shell tacos were a novelty (a completely different experience to the hard Old El Paso tacos we were all fed as Mexican growing up) and they had the most amazing prawn filling. The prawns were in a cumin spice rub and came with a squeeze of lime. This filling is no longer on the menu and my disappointment at this is everlasting. The Crows Nest branch of the tacqueria chain has a really nice atmosphere with a wide open and airy shop front, and an outdoor seating area with brightly coloured flags. The burritos are jam-packed with yummy goodness and the veggie option is actually quite substantial, consisting of sautéed mushrooms, onions. They are also licensed, so you can enjoy a nice cold corona to help wash down the burrito-y goodness. However as per usual with me it comes down to the simple things, which in this case is the fact that there is an array of condiments to accompany your meal, including three types of Tabasco sauce... in large pump containers. There is your normal run of the mill original Tabasco, then there is the extra hot Habanero Tabasco, but for me it all comes down to the crème de la crème of Tabasco sauces; Chipotle Tabasco. It basically tastes like someone has added smokey bbq sauce to Tabasco... And it is GOOD!

Eventually they did, but it shouldn't have been that complicated. Other than that, the sauce dispensers gave you very little sauce; one also squirted sauce all over my shirt, which I wasnt happy about. I've been to similar places to this, and compared to those, Guzman y Gomez just wasnt really up to par. I might go here again, but I certainly wouldnt go out of my way to.

The restaurants are holes in the wall, the staff are Latino, they are licenced and their burritos are something else. Favourite: tubs of chopped cilantro, red onion and jalapenos to add to your meal, and a variety of hot sauces that range from the mild to the eye-watering. The ordering process ensures that you end up with exactly what you desire, with a range of tacos, quesadillas, burritos etc to choose from and then a range of toppings- including a delicious black bean and mushroom. Home-made corn chips are also a go. Ariba!

The food merged in my mouth in a tasteful frenzy. Honestly, did not take a sneaky pic though as the presentation was not there. I recommend not serving the food in front of guests, while it does give the illusion of authenticity, the watery beans and liquid cheese that I was served with says otherwise. I felt rather unpleasant as I saw that ladle dripping in 8-hour with old fat free sour cream (at least I thought it was. It was a white sticky substance- who knows what it could've been!) Anyways overall great experience. The iceberg lettuce was very good

The corn chips were clearly fresh and that made a big difference. Really yum and the dip was perfect to match. Next up was grilled corn with a creamy butter coriander sauce. This was nothing special. Was more looking for something a little bit spicer considering its a Mexican. The ancient grain salad was served. This salad contained quinoa, broccoli, pumpkin, chia and pomegranate seeds with a tequila sauce. This was a great choice on the menu and definitely would choose this one again. For the mains we selected Beef enchiladas and Cod. The beef enchiladas was pretty good but not exceptional and was a little light in the meat department. The cod was not what you would traditionally expect from a Mexican so figured it was a good choice to go with. It turned out to be a stellar one. The cod was beautiful and had a nice smoky sauce to go with it. Amazingly there was room for dessert and decided to opt for the Chilli Brownie. The brownie was made with dark chocolate and didn't have that overly heavy after feeling that you get from some desserts. Just didn't really notice the chilli in it though but still nice. The experience was really good in this place. The atmosphere was very relaxed and would certainly come back again.
