He told me I had a lot of inflammation, when my MRI and sonogram proves otherwise. When I was in the room, there was no shockwave machine. Yet they claimed they offered it. That's very suspicious. If I'm asking for shockwave, why in the world would you have me in the room with a different machine? He even told me it was a laser machine. I wasted my time waiting for this appointment, not to mention money. I didn't ask for laser. Plus, my regular podiatrist told me I should just be able to get shockwave! I didn't need anything special. And since I have now had my first shockwave treatment, I know for a fact that I didn't need steroids or laser before shockwave. Don't trust this man.

I have never felt rushed in my appointments, and because I am not feeling pressured about time, I am better able to express my concerns and have a productive, efficient visit. When I injured my right knee.....I did the heat and ice thing, eventually getting it to the point of being able to walk, but it still wasn't right. I happened to remember how great the therapy was, emailed my doctor for a referral and made a pretty quick set of appointments. It's been a month and what I can tell you is that a pretty serious pain is now gone. Naturally, everyone is going to have a different experience with how much time it take to heal, but I am so very thrilled with where I am!
