While the food guy is nice, understanding, and quick, the guy working the front register spends 99.9999% of his time just watching the camera behind you, dreaming of outside, and is just barely cognizant of you passing him money. It's a bodega, so what they lack in ambiance, they more than make up in local entertainment. You're in Jamaica, New York, and you can people watch while you wait for your delicious food. The price for what I ordered was pretty reasonable for the area. It was okay. My biggest gripe is that the wrap was a bit thin. There were may two slices of pastrami? The egg whites and cheese were good but in the end it was much less substantial of a meal than I was expecting. The deli itself is nice-pretty standard. It can be a bit challenging to find parking nearby but is very hit or miss. The workers were super nice and the service was quick.
