This is not the salon to go to for wedding hair. I have never left a less than positive review before in google but in this case I would like to help anyone avoid what I went through. I showed the hairdresser recommended by Guy himself as being the best at wedding hair two photos of hair that I was hoping for. He said he would easily be able to achieve this. Had he been honest and said he could not do this, I would have just gone elsewhere. I was genuinely so horrified at the result when I was finished that I couldn't get out of the salon fast enough. I could have cried. Luckily I found someone else who made my hair look beautiful. The first photo with the black and white dress is the Guy Kremer hair trial, the next two in a white t-shirt is my hair trial elsewhere and the final result on the day was just incredible. The salon would not refund the cost of the hair trial despite me suggesting this would resolve the situation. The blowdry I had with Jolene prior to this was, however, really good. read more

Not recommended. On entry was greeted with loud music (not to my taste), more effort put into presentation of salon than the customers, asked to turn it down a bit was told others like it and it stays ... went downhill from there. Mediocre (functional) hair cut for which I paid a premium, on recommendation for good service and attention to detail which did not transpire. The Stylist (rounded elderly man in 60s with glasses) seemed more interested in talking on phone and to others, and playing up to apparent acolytes. Utter farce and for what was delivered extremely poor value for month. Could have got the same thing for 1/3 of the price elsewhere with far better experience. read more

Fabulous service & very conscientious: I went in recently for a colour and cut. Matthew coloured my hair following my instructions. I made a terrible choice of where to place my blonde slices and Matthew went straight to work to fix it. I then moved onto Guy for my cut. Guy expertly cut my hair and gently suggested my colour was still not right. He is very conscientious and would not let me leave until it was corrected. He stayed late after the salon was closed and I left the salon feeling fabulous. What a nice man!!! Definitely a hair professional you can trust. read more

Disappointed, didn't get offered anything to drink until the end of the appointment, no attention to detail, don't expect a head massage or even anti stain cream pre colour, my colour felt so slap dash, with the girl scrubbing at my skin to remove the stains afterwards! I have no doubt guy kremers staff are well trained and highly skilled but they float around the salon in a bubble of self importance chatting to each other rather than you. I just don't think they care or even feel they have too anymore, style over substance all the way, and crazy prices too. read more

This is a 5 star salon, if you want to be treated as a celeb this s the place to go. With Guy Kremer being responsible for the hair of many celebs including some of the eastenders cast, you are guarenteed to get an up to the minute hair do. They are really good at advising on hair colour, and everytime i have had my hair coloured here i have been really pleased. They have an in salon juice bar which i think is quite funny, as it is so Winchester. Look out for the cute dog who often visits the salon (i think it is Guy's!).They also sell a range of hair care products and also GHD's, but inevitably they are not the cheapest! This is definetly the place to go for luxury! read more

I had my hair cut at Guy Kremer yesterday for the first time on the hunt for a regular hair dresser having recently moved to the area. I liked the salon and the vibe but am very disappointed with the cut. Technically at least it's fine but stylistically it's frumpy and boring. The stylist (one of the most senior) didn't take any notice of my lifestyle / how I normally wear my hair (ie not tucked behind my ears). I would not recommend this salon to anyone and am having to now travel to my old hairdresser to try and get this current cut sorted out. read more

I have been going to Guy's salon for 12 years and the staff are fabulous - most of the team have been there for all of that time but keep current with shows and photoshoots. I am always treated brilliantly and Jonny and JC keep my cut and colour fabulous. I am always receiving comments and questions about who has done my hair. I recently had a bridal hair appointment with Guy, but unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. I normally go to Richard Ward in Sloane Square, but was recommended Guy as a "talent" in Hampshire and the "go to" person for my bridal hair. My hair trial a few months earlier went well, however, on the day of my wedding, Guy left me unattended for around 20 minutes to cut someone else's hair, then returned and styled my hair in a way that looked nothing like the hair trial (I had a photo on my phone which I showed him). Also, my appointment over-ran by 20 minutes, meaning that I was late for my own wedding as everything got pushed back! I left the salon and burst into tears - I didn't have time to wash and dry my hair again so had to "rescue" it myself when I got home. I was very unhappy with it and didn't want to go to my own wedding as I felt I looked a wreck. I was very upset all day at my wedding as I was still not happy with my hair (despite rescue attempts) and am not keen on the photos. This experience ruined my wedding day - please, any brides reading this, take note and do not go to Guy Kremer. read more
