Paradise Gutters thru his representative Larry Larson requested a 25% down payment from me on same day, which was paid thru Mr. Lardon's PayPal account as a family and friends payment because, as stated by Mr. Larson, he could the funds immediately and could use them to buy the materials. However, he failed to mention that business payments made as friends and family are no guarantee by PayPal. Mr. Larson said that he needed about two weeks to secure the materials needed to do the work, but he never came back. Then, Mr. Larson said the he had a family emergency, that his father in law was sick, and he had to go out of town, and that he had no cellular signal. After calling multiple times and leaving numerous messages, I finally received a call from Mr. Larson, he told me that he was going to do the work the following week. The week past and Paradise Gutters never came or called about the job. At this point, I strongly believe this person and business are dishonest, and would like to warn other people about the deceiving business practices of Paradise Gutters and it's representative Larry Larson.

They were timely, easy to communicate with and the craftsmanship was perfect. The area around our porch was damaged, rotten wood and they removed old materials and added new soffits that matched our remaining soffits perfect. I am not in the business of construction but been involved in remodel of all areas and discipline of construction for over 30 years as a side job. I retired and was in the process of buying a house. Placed an offer and got on my way. When I walked through the house there were some issues I noticed which I figured the detailed inspection will reveal. Once the inspection report was received I reviewed it and noticed there were no details of the areas I looked over prior. I was about to start the process of closing and decided to get a second inspection by someone totally unrelated with the real estate company I was using at the time. I figured the inspector worked with them on all their deals and just wanted for them to sell the house. So I researched and found BTDT. This gentleman Christian Rivera showed up. Very professional, spoke to me with great knowledge of what the inspection was going to be like and got to work. I observed part of the inspection and noticed he was very thorough, so I left to not be in his way. My report was received via email in record time. The next morning I had my report and reviewed it. OMG! This report was extremely detailed, nothing like the first one, and revealed many things that were going to require major very costly repairs and/or were safety hazards not noted by the first inspector. Fortunately, he was able to complete and send my report in such a short time I was still during the inspection period and was able to retract/cancel the contract without a loss. My first red flag was when I ordered a septic system inspection with a company the realtor recommended. I called, paid over the phone and told them I wanted to be present. We scheduled the inspection for a Friday morning and they called the realtor on Wednesday and agreed to Thursday without my consent. I found out about it and was very upset, but there was nothing I could do about it. So after reading my first inspection report and then this happens, my decision was made and it was the best decision I have ever made. This company, BTDT saved me at least 100-150 thousand dollars. Inspector Christian Rivera has a keen eye for details that often are missed by the average individual. His admirable attention to detail saved me from buying a lemon. The thoroughness and detail of my inspection was impressive. I was so impressed when I was ready to buy again I called him. I am now looking at a new constructed house by a builder. Christian Rivera still found things wrong with the house which was newly build. Thinks like improper seals, cracks in the finished walls, areas where water intrusion could occur etc. These things were not costly and the builder agreed to correct prior to closing. Well, I am still waiting on a closing date, but I thought this man deserves to be noticed. BTDT is reliable, is of reasonable cost, punctual, professional, very knowledgeable in their business and most important to me is their attention to detail. I highly recommend you do not allow the real estate company to schedule their inspector for you. They are not helping you. YOU get your own inspector and hire BTDT. They are the excellence and greatness of perfection in home inspection. I will never hire anyone else. Good luck buying your next home. Call them and you will not be disappointed.
