I had gutters installed on 18 Nov 2022. I discovered a problem with water falling directly off the roof and spilling over the gutters over my garage. Further investigation showed a bracket was not screwed into the soffit. I contacted the business six times using three different methods previously used to communicate with them (email, text, phone) beginning in September 2023. I received no response at all. I then filed a complaint with the BBB in February 2024. I was told by the business that I was outside their one year warranty period and that I have oak trees around my property and it was my fault that I had not maintained my gutters. However, their website clearly states they have a lifetime installation warranty and a 20 year manufacturer warranty. I presented clear photos reflecting there are few leaves in the gutter and a photo showing the screw from the braket that was never secured. Even presented with this evidence the business refuses to honor their work through their warranty. I am forced now to seek out another gutter company to inspect and repair this faulty work. I gave them two stars as the initial quote was very inexpensive. I suppose the old adage applies, "you get what you pay for..." read more

Sir I have tried to get you to come over and correct the poor job you did on our house installing gutters at 113 Oakridge Place, PCB You have ignored my wife's calls, you have ignored my calls and now I am reporting you to the PCB Chamber of Commerce and the BBB for your poor work This morning the water was pouring over the gutters so badly it was just pitiful you call yourself a contractor and Gutter person. You have never responded to getting a warranty you promised as well Please address this problem before it gets out of hand. Your gutters are installed wrong, the house did not settle as is is 30 years old so that is out of your excuses. This an update from a previous rating that was way wrong. I gave Stu (owner) the benefit of being busy and not being promot to do warranty work. Well, it is actually much worse. We just learned, the hard way, that Gutter Magic incorrectly installed our gutters about 4 years ago which caused them to fail over time. He really isn't that good and you should not use him at all. The gutters started hanging down, and pulling on the metal drip flashing. Stu wrongly srewed right through our metal drip flashing which is WRONG and the gutter now droop because they pull on the flashing, which now is exposed and looks horrible. Gutter Magic owner, Stu, refused to come and look at it or even try to fix it. He claimed he had new jobs that were more important than worrying about ours. His incompetence is costing me thousands of dollars. Stay away from Gutter Magic. He can act nice, until you need something that he doesn't want to give,... like quality service. read more

We finally got back on track and called Stuart at Gutter Magic to reschedule the new gutter project. The office was very attentive and took my information. Initially Stuart was Johnny on the spot- he showed up when he said he would and was competitive with his bid. Due to the fast response and competitive quote, I decided to use him. BIGGEST mistake ever! Initially the work looked ok, not great, not horrible. That was until the first heavy rain. My gutters were flooding everywhere. It would have been better to not have them at all as they were creating a huge mess. He did not install enough down spouts, there were several areas which were not leveled and sloped correctly, all of which led to major problems with the storm water flowing off of my new, metal roof. So, I contacted him to discuss the problem, which is where it gets even better. From the initial contact, he insisted that the problem was my fault and that I should have known more down-spouts were needed. When I gave him the original quote, and pointed out that it did not list the number of down spouts he was providing, but only stipulated that it was for the entire house, he then flipped his lid. Insisting that it was my fault and that I would have to pay him more to get the problem fixed. At this point he became very unprofessional and verbally abrasive, so I stopped communicating with him. I finally had to get another company to come and repair the problem. The general manager of that company indicated that he has performed more than his share of repairs due to poor quality and craftsmanship of this man's work. Further that he hears very similar stories regarding Gutter Magic regularly. Buyer beware! He responds fast. He shows up when he says he will. But his quality is poor and he does not stand behind his work. read more

I was recommended, Gutter Magic for gutter replacement for my Lake House a couple of months ago and was very pleased with there work. The price was fair and the work was done in a timely manner and the quality was top notch. Last month I put a new roof on my primary house on the beach along with a new paint job. After looking at both I decided to add new gutters to set the house off and called Gutter Magic to do the entire house and could not be more please with there work.
