Contacted 4 companies about new gutters for the sides of our house after new tile roof put on. Gutter It Up ! was the first to respond and the easiest to deal with. Their price was reasonable and not the lowest or not the highest, one company never responded! The installers did the over 110 linear feet installation very fast and were very courteous, explained what they were doing, and cleaned up the area very well. We had used these guys a few years ago to put gutters on our home, they are still doing ok however we reached out several days ago to see about adding in an additional downspout because of draining issues on the lower floor the angle is not good enough and water (and debris) piles up and doesn't clear and I have tried to sweep them clean but clearly we need to add in another downspout to avoid this issue. I filled out their online form and after what must be a couple of weeks we have not gotten any sort of return call or note. We are actively shopping this with other providers to help us with this. Any time a company makes you use an online form to get customer (or sales) help - then they really need to follow up with the customer or else they really don't look good. read more

The Gutter salesperson never came out, I did everything via cell phone and computer website. I found this strange that no one would come out to sell me their product. After getting them installed, we had no rainstorms to see whether or not they were working. I had one seam in the back corner that was dripping. Yes, they repaired it a month later. Then, the rains came and we noticed another back corner seam leaking. I was under the impression that the gutters had a warranty of at least a year. But, when I called, they said, I had to pay $340 to repair it. I would never recommend a company that does work that's not up to par or wouldn't fix the mistake that they made. read more

Contacted this company as they were listed as the "best of Broward" in that circular that gets distributed. Sent in my photos of my house, specifically the area needing repair but also of other areas. Initially was told that they could do nothing without "cutting back the tiki hut" which I'm not inclined to do, and so I said okay, I'll look elsewhere. Then he comes back and says "oh, wait-the owner says we can do it bc there's enough space after all." (And yes, indeed, there is sufficient space. These impressions on his part being made solely based on my iPhone photos from the ground. Nobody came out. Ever.) Great, I said, please send me the cost for the repair and also for replacing the entire gutter and I'll decide. Crickets. No reply. Nothing. I followed up, still no reply. I see other reviews complain about the same with this company. I called a local guy who is a one-man show in the gutter department and he said he's surprised that this company gets in the "best of" magazine bc this is a typical complaint. I contacted Gutter It Up on Angi.com requesting a quote. They asked me to send digital pictures of all the locations where the gutters would be installed. I did that for them on my time so they didn't have to drive to my house. Upon receipt of the pics, Jason Alex asked me to send additional pictures of the rest of the front and rear of the house. I texted him back to say that both of those areas are angled/A framed and would not need gutters and therefore there is no reason to send pictures. He then stated that if I don't send additional digital pics of the other areas where I do not need gutters he would not provide me with a quote. I cannot believe that Jason has the audacity to not provide me with a quote after I saved his company a trip to my house and I did the work for them by providing the digital pics and dimensions. Not only did Gutter It Up lose my sale but they will also lose my neighbor as a customer as my neighbor needs gutters as well and trusts me based on the thorough research I complete online to find a reputable vendor. Don't waste your time with a quote from Gutter It Up. Go elsewhere! read more

We have used Gutter It Up twice. In 2018 they came out and spent a lot of time going around the house and explaining where we need add gutters and where they aren't needed. We recently had half of a gutter come down with part of it hanging on the house and half on our neighbors yard. It was a gutter that was put in by a previous company. We called Gutter It Up and they came out right away and replaced it. They are very honest and reliable. I received quotes from 2 other gutter companies and they not only beat their pricing but, had the best service. Jason walked around the house and gave me two quotes depending on what budget I had and needs were. Even then, they were still more affordable! Although you do have to be patience to get scheduled in... it was not an issue. I called at least 3 times to follow up and they were always kind to let me know the custom gutters weren't in. I never felt guilted into purchasing or felt annoyed in any way. The install took about an hr or so and the guys made sure I was happy by asking me if it looked how I wanted or if I had any questions. When I said I'd be ok with doing just the first story of the house (consistent with what was discussed by phone), the salesman said that would not be an option for this company and recommended others because of liability concerns. I would not recommend. Called for an estimate and it came in significantly higher than all the other ones I received. Ask if they would work with me on the price and they asked me to send them all the other quotes I received. I send them immediately and after several follow up emails and no response figured they don't need the business. We had this company install gutters on our house in Fort Lauderdale about 3 years ago. We recently finished another building which needed gutters and we called them to do that as well. But as the guy was here giving us the estimate, we realized that the 3 year old gutters no longer looked so good, they are all stained (which doesn't wash off). So we decided to go with another company. SO in the long run, you might get a better product from other gutter companies in the area, we no longer recommend these guys. read more

Sales guy came out and priced the job, never pointed out potential installation issues with electric cables. A few weeks later on installation date, installer said he could not complete installation (understandable if it presents a risk). Had to reschedule for a few weeks later while trying to simultaneously schedule with FP&L to temporarily remove electric wires. A few days before installation, I called to confirm the install with Gutter it Up, receptionist could not find the appointment (claimed a change in office staff) and after calling 5 straight days (would never be transferred to the owner by the receptionist) she finally said they would come out "first thing in the morning" (FP&L had agreed to be at my house at 8:30am). On installation date, FP&L was at my house on time, Gutter It Up was no where to be found. Office doesn't open until 9:30am so I was in limbo for 1 hour with an FP&L truck outside telling me they had to eventually leave to the next job. At 9:30am Gutter It Up finally answers the phone, the receptionist claims that she said 9:30am (I was told "first thing in the morning'); nonetheless 9:30 in the morning is not 'first thing in the morning" and even still, they didn't show up until 10:15am. Lucky the FP&L truck was still around to temporarily cut the power. In general, calling this business is an uphill battle, late start and early finish to the work day. You always get voicemail and even the message says they will call you back within 24 hours, very little sense of urgency and way too much sassiness. The job itself seems fine, but I have to imagine having gutters installed should be less stressful than this. read more

As a first time female homeowner, it is so important that I use great discretion and due-diligence when hiring subcontractors. I have to say that, to date, Gutter It Up has been the very best company I have dealt with relating to the upgrades to my fixer-upper. When the estimator came out to give me a quote, I actually had to ask if it included installation. They were able to match the color of my house and did an incredible job. I feel as though they were beyond fair with me, and this gave me a level of comfort that is indescribable. I also had a repair done to an area at the rear of my home after AT&T attached a very heavy cable to my fascia board causing damage to that area. Complete satisfaction If you need to install new gutters or need to replace the existing ones do not look elsewhere. Gutter it up is the right place for that. I just had a new metal roof installed and needed to put new gutters and I have been referred to gutter it up by the company which makes the roof metals. As a matter of fact I was referred to two companies. One which never got back to me and Gutter it up which contacted me right away. It was a wonderful experience dealing with this company. Very professional very courteous and not expensive at all. They did my job at an affordable price and with such professionalism that honestly they even exceeded my expectations. I had a positive experience which I think is worth to talk about. Initially i got a quote from them for the whole perimeter of my house and when it came to write the contract I removed a section of the house and there was a mistake on my part removing the necessary section and leave the part I wanted to remove. When I contacted Gutter it up and they proved to me that I was the one who decided to remove from the quote the part that was important and leave what was not necessary big was my surprise when Gutter it up offered to come back and do it for me for free. Initially I refused as it was my fault but they insisted on doing it so that they were sure I would be completely satisfied. Which company would ever do something like that when it is not at fault. This is to me something I will never forget and I give a high score to Gutter it up for their know how on a job well done and the consideration given to the satisfaction of their customers. Okay, I admit this may be a tad premature because the final test will be the first time I get a healthy Florida rainstorm in the wet season (we only have two seasons) to test it. But I have full confidence that if there is a problem these guys will be over here in a heartbeat to correct it. When the foreman came by and walked me through what he was going to do I said to him, "I told these guys over and over again that I need a drain in a certain section of the roof to prevent water from standing on the lower section (we had just replaced the roof and that section required major work to replace rotted out plywood and flashing). The foreman, Carl said to me, "No problem, I don't see it in the contract but it's an easy fix and we will take care of it for you. Bless his heart, he did not even call Mr. Soltes (the CEO and his boss) he just did it. There must be a very secure chain of command in place established by Mr. Soltes that says, "Get it right.
