I decided I am going to make it a point of sharing my poor customer service related issues. I called this company to get an estimate for gutters on my new house in Westport. I explained I had called several companies to get estimates and gotten no responses. I asked how long it would take to get a written estimate. The owner stated to text him the address and he would go out there that day and send me estimate as well. That was on June 2nd. June 3rd did not have anything. I texted owner asking are u interested in job. Still nothing. Finally a day later I told him I would write a bad review if I didn't hear back. He then called me and stated he lost his phone and that's why he didn't respond. He said he would go out later that day which was Thursday. Nothing Friday, Sat. At this point even if owner had sent estimate I would never hire a company that cannot follow though but for the hell of it I texted saying [still working estimate) finally 8 days later he sent it. The irony was his measurements will way off. I would avoid this company at all costs. read more

We are very happy with the Gutter Boys. The same day I called asking for an estimate Giovanni came out in the afternoon looking at the house. He sent the estimate the next day, which was well below every other estimate we got. They came out installing the new gutters few days later. They measured and cut them on the spot, made not only sure they would fit seamlessly and be functional but also that they would look good. They did a fabulous job. The next day it poured down with rain. The gutters worked so well, it was fun seeing the water rushing out of the downpipes. In the middle of the storm Giovanni called to check if the gutters were working well. That was a super nice end to a very pleasant all over experience. I highly recommend Giovanni and Gutter Boys! There are not enough stars to give him and his company! We recently bought a house in Westport. Our daughter was getting married at our house 4 weeks later, an outdoor wedding in our backyard. Our gutter were very old, cracked, not pitched right,etc. if we got a rainy day our yard would be flooded. Giovanni came by the day I called him, gave me a very fair price and then came THE NEXT DAY and installed a brand new 6" gutter system! He did an excellent job and fixed some prior issues due to the roof. But that's not all. Our leader drains also did not work. Our yard still would have flooded even with the new gutters. Giovanni gave me a great price again and came back the next morning and fixed all the leader drain issues! Giovanni and his team are excellent. I got three quotes for the gutter repairs I needed on my home. I was very selective as I live in a 100 year old stone house with copper gutters. I had 3 downspouts with split seams that needed replacement, two blocked underground drains where one needed snaking, and one gutter that was too small to carry the amount of water going through it. His quote was over 30% less than the other estimates I received. I felt his analysis on the repair work that needed to be done and his recommendation on what needed to be done was more thorough than the other quotes because he pointed out a number of things they had not noticed. After I accepted his quote, he came on time on the day we agreed, completed the work in the time frame he estimated, and thoroughly cleaned up after he left. As he was doing the work, he noticed a few other minor issues (missing clips, etc.) on my other gutters, which he fixed along the way as he did the work. The new copper gutters and downspouts that he used were all top quality, and were installed with all the correct fasteners etc. His team were all extremely polite and professional. I was so satisfied with the work that I contracted with him to do my fall gutter clean up. He has just completed that, and I am equally satisfied. He came on the day agreed and cleaned both the gutters and the roof eaves. I would highly recommend him to anyone. read more
