I found them to be extremely professional and he sent me over his material list. He's very straightforward about his cost and the pros and cons of using a premium Gutter company over using somebody who works out of their house. I used gutter guys to clean my home gutters You only need to look at the pictures to understand what a terrible job they did. They also are expensive. They also came to do the job 4 weeks later than the day agreed. Please be careful and if you use them make sure you check their job or you may have a lot of problems! read more

Prompt, responsive...but.... I called and asked for a specific job to be done, I met the rep they sent and when he was working I told him that was not what was to be done. He said, no problem and did the specific task originally requested. Then I was billed for what he had chosen to do himself, in addition to the job requested. While it was very annoying, one email to the business immediately resulted in a fully corrected billing. I had used them prior, without incident. Gutter Guys cleaned my gutters last year. There are some pro's I will list below. But, also some con's. The way I was treated obviously tells me they don't need my business, which is fine, but for a customer who never had anything but politeness for their staff I find it very unprofessional. Pro's: Supplied a COI with additional insured, which I requested. Came on time, climbed up and cleaned as needed. No surprises. Txtd pictures of the clean gutters to my cellular. Con's: Office staff who answers the phone, only one word, Nasty! I txtd the person who sent me pictures from last years cleaning so I could have my gutters cleaned again. They txt right back, asked for my address. I was never txtd back, so I txtd again and asked if they could help or should I move on. I received a txt back just saying "no time sorry". **Not sure if they are pricey or not, but to clean my gutters was $360/per visit. read more

These people are scammers. Price quoted was too high, and I did not hire them. Many years later, they STILL call and leave a pre recorded vm telling me they are going to service my property and "invoice me later". I have called them multiple times to take me off their list and they have not. read more

We had new gutters installed by this company last summer. They did a nice job and getting them here for a fall cleaning was no problem. But after we experienced an issue with ice this winter, they agreed to send a "technician" out to look at the installation once the weather warmed up. He came yesterday. Today, Alex, the owner, called, and after telling me right away that the gutters had nothing to with the ice problem...at length...we disagreed about whether the installation should have been done without telling us that a section of the fascia board was rotted at the top and should have been replaced.I would expect a real professional to point that out. Alex said "you should have known about that" rotted board, and by his intransigence and rudeness, I knew I was not going to get anywhere with him. But here's the real problem....before I got a chance to thank him for sending someone out, and that we'll just have to agree to disagree, HE HUNG UP ON ME. The owner of the company HUNG UP ON ME...unbelievable. And the funny thing was, I never asked him for anything, not a partial refund, not a reinstallation of that section of fascia board, nothing. When you are in a service business, you don't treat customers that way. Stew Leonards says "the customer is always right." This company apparently feels otherwise. UPDATE 7/14/15 I read with amusement Alex's comments to this review. I will be brief: 1. Nothing he claims I told him in the first paragraph is or was true. I am not a contractor. I never claimed I renovated the house ( I did not), and while I am not the homeowner, my fiancée is. 2a. I never claimed Gutter Guys had anything at all to do with the ice damming, never blamed them for it or insisted that they pay to repair anything. I certainly didn't need Alex to explain it to me, having been a homeowner for almost 30 years. My issue was clear and straighforward: Gutter Guys should not have installed new gutters against a section of fascia board that was rotted and lacked flashing. Other than that, I did not assert Gutter Guys or their gutters were in any way at fault for the ice damming. I did question whether or not water could have gotten into the house because of the faulty gutter installation, but since he never took any responsible for a less than professional job, I never got an answer to that question. 2b. He forgot to mention the part where he hung up on me. Ironically, if he hadn't done that, I wouldn't have written this review in the first place. 3. Last month, a professional gutter company removed the gutters, replaced the rotted section of fascia board, recaulked, used the correct flashing, and reinstalled the gutters. They then ran water on the roof and under the shingles over the section in question for three hours....no leaks. 4. He was anything and everything but a "patient man." And either his memory is bad or he is concocting conversations that simply did not occur, but virtually everything he writes below is either a gross exaggeration or an out and out fabrication. read more

We were extremely impressed with the service Gutter Guys provided, especially Alex K. who performed the work on our house. He couldn't have been more friendly or more professional. The job was priced fairly and was completed as promised, with some minor adjustments along the way as a few issues were encountered. For follow-up, they didn't propose the most expensive annual service, rather a simple once-per-year cleaning. We would use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them highly. read more

We came across Gutter Guys because we reached out to their sister company Refresh Roof and Exterior (I rated them 5 stars!). We had them come out to clean out the gutters, finding out that they were the original installers of the guards from the previous homeowners. A technician came out and serviced the gutters while I was at work. When I got home, I had noticed a few guards sticking up and the roof closest to the gutters was not really cleaned off. I immediately called Alex and they sent someone out there that afternoon to touch up on my concerns. They have very good customer services and they are responsive. read more

Thorough and reliable service! Gutter Guys made cleaning our gutters easy. They came out to evaluate our gutters and while they were at my house, called me and gave me a price to clean them. Once I confirmed the price was fine they cleaned the gutters that same day. No multiple appointments, phone calls or meetings. They also took pictures of any gutters that were split or in need of repair. Everything (including the pictures) was emailed to me so that I could look it over and decide if and when we wanted to make the repairs. While I think their price on cleaning the gutters was very fair I think that the estimate for replacing and repairing was a little high. I would probably still use them since they are knowledgeable and make the process so easy. read more

My husband contacted Gutter Guys to replace a piece of gutter on his parent's home. The first appointment was on a Saturday which they tried to cancel early in the morning because it had rained earlier. My husband asked why were they cancelling if the sun was currently out? They said they would come. They showed up and gave the estimate and said they would call Monday to set up appointment. They never called. My husband asked me to follow up so I called Tuesday and was told definitely by the end of the week, they would call me tomorrow with the day so I could leave a check in the mailbox. Wednesday came, no call. I called today which is Thursday and was told they would call me in 15 minutes, I told them that it was crazy that they didn't call when they say they would and I can go elsewhere. Again, no call within 15 minutes so I waited about 1 hour and called back. This time I was told the install date for one gutter was first week in August..... seriously? I was just told before the end of this week. The guy said "yea, well Victor is on a job and won't be able to do it until then" I wouldn't use these unprofessional people if they were doing it for free. How they stay in business is beyond me. read more

Gutter Guys is great. They are a very reliable and an honest company. I just recently had some gutter work done on my house due to damage that occurred last winter. Gutter Guys made the whole process extremely painless. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended! Two thumbs way up. read more

I would give them a 0 if it were at all possible. I have used this company for over five years to clean my gutters annually. They called today after waiting a month for them to come that they cannot do it for the agreed upon price if I only have a cleaning once a year. They doubled the price. What kind of business practice is this? Is this how a loyal customer should be treated? Never again. read more
