Definitely keep an eye out for unique finds like their frozen mulberries and white peach or nectarine jams. We loved the specialty products so much that we actually went back two days later to stock up on gifts. We came for U-pick peaches and nectarines. The tree-ripened fruit was incredibly sweet and juicy with a floral aroma. We went with kids and grandparents, and everyone had an amazing time. The apricots looked amazing too...can't wait to come back once they're ripe!

Today, October 17, 2026: We came for pomegranate and persimmon U-pick. The girl at the store asked if we could walk to the trees ourselves (another girl was driving customers there). We said we knew where the trees were since we've been regular customers for years and visited many of their U-picks. She even acknowledged recognizing us and confirmed we could walk there ourselves. In previous years, walking to the trees was always normal practice. After having a picnic at the farm, we started walking toward the trees when another girl chased after us, visibly angry. She rudely told us we weren't allowed anywhere except the playground and store. It was exactly 3 PM on Saturday (the store closes at 5 PM), yet she claimed U-pick was already closed for the day, two hours before closing. We repeatedly asked them to please let us U-pick, but were rejected every time. When we asked why they wouldn't drive us to the trees at 3 PM if the store closes at 5 PM, we were told they could close the store whenever they wanted and it was entirely up to them. The girl responsible for driving customers to the trees simply turned her back on us and stopped talking to us. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were told they didn't have any contact information for one. So we drove an hour with two young kids for this kind of experience. Dear Barbara, even though you probably care much less about this business now that you're selling the property, we'd like to remind you: You're not in the business of selling persimmons. Persimmons can be bought anywhere. When you open your doors for U-pick, you're in the business of selling experience and dealing with people - your customers. Please teach your staff to provide at least the bare minimum of customer service.4

It's on the same side as Ace hardware, on the corner across from Skippolinis. When you enter my kids immediately get distracted by the giant chalkboard lining the left hand wall. Adding art before they select their treat. They serve great portions and always have a random treat selection. Cotton candy, candy, chips, etc. Bring cash for tip, you can't leave a tip on card. There's a few tables, photo bench, and palm tree head. Hard to explain but when you see it, you can't unsee it. This is our favorite ice cream spot, happy to share a little hidden gem.
