Friends from Novara brought us here for dinner. We had lived in Germany for several years and enjoy a good German meal. This restaurant is a blend of German food with an Italian twist. They have wursts and sauerkraut and the setting is very traditional. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. (They speak Italian with a little English. No German.)
Starting with a warm pretzel covered in melted cheese, next up was onion soup and potato soup, followed by beef covered in fried onion and bratwurst & sauerkraut. After coffee and dessert we ended with some after dinner drinks: Montenegro and Glenfiddich. The food was tasty and we had a long, lovely meal.
A very nice meal, an enjoyable visit with good friends and the decor brought back memories. If you are in the mood for German cuisine, you should definitely consider this very nice restaurant. read more
