    This is supposed to be THE place for off-roaders…read more I went in to look at and buy a set of ARB lockable drawers for my Land Cruiser 100 series. Watched their videos, went in talked to their sales guy for 20+ minutes about the drawers. I spent $3000 and 8 hours installing 2x RDRF1045 roller-top drawers + side kit, only to find out that the roller-top on the drawers mean that locking them is useless. You can lock them, but you just lightly pull on the top and the entire roof opens. So if you store anything in the locked portion, anyone can get to it by an easy tug on the drawer. There's no point in having lockable drawers in the back of your truck if someone can just open the roof and get into them anyway. That's not Slee's fault - they don't manufacture them. However, _this_ is Slee's fault - I called Slee and asked them what I could do and they said "yes, we have heard about this repeatedly that is true, they don't lock so they aren't really that useful." I asked if I could return them since they knew these were completely useless as locking drawers and the sales guy never told me this while I spent 20 minutes talking to him. They said I could not but encouraged me to put them up for sale on Ih8mud or other forums and then come back to them and spend more money and buy the RD1045 which does not have the roller top from them. They're absurd. No one should sell $3000 worth of products that you know are not going to serve the purpose of most people buying them without saying anything to the person, then refuse to take them back, and then offer a fix that involves spending more money. Side note - I also called ARB's USA office (their HQ is in AUS) and a VERY lethargic and uncaring customer support guy agreed that they are useless as locking drawers.

    Avoid Golden Advanced Auto at all costs!!! They sell bad…read morebatteries and then refuse to honor the warranty you pay for! Twice now with 2 different cars the brand new DieHard platinum batteries I purchased with 36 month warranty went bad in just 6 months! 2 in a row! Sam used the stores tester on my last one and said it's not the battery, it's my alternator, I said it's probably the battery since the last one in a different car lasted only 6 months too, Sam refused to honor the 36 month warranty and continued to blame my alternator, he even said he was sure it's the alternator.... I said in a stern voice I'm gonna need a new battery here today and Sam said he can get me a new battery but it will void my warranty, so I said fine, let's install the new one......but then he wanted to charge me full price for a new battery and even said there would be no warranty cuz he said my alternator will just eat it up. I was turned away with a dying battery. Sam refused to honor the 36 month warranty that I paid Advanced Auto for! So, I located a new alternator and went to Auto Zone to pick it up, scheduled my mechanic to come install it and when he came out and put on his tester he said my alternator is working fine, and that the battery is bad! We went back to the store together and manager Joe put it on the same tester they have and instantly honored the warranty and gave me the free replacement battery that I wanted in the first place from Sam. But I had to pay my mechanic $125 for the service call! I called corporate to complain and the district manager Glenn Richardson called me with stall tactics, wanted to argue my mechanics diagnosis, didn't seem to accept any responsibility, and would not refund me the $125 I had to pay my mechanic. He didn't seem concerned with his stores negative reputation and now he doesn't return phone calls! Glenn Richardson could not settle my complaint, he's just a yes man for Advanced Auto Parts!!! What a waste of time and money dealing with these people! Avoid the nightmare at the Golden Advanced Auto!!! I should of listened to the negative word on the street that I heard about Golden Advanced Auto, they have a really bad reputation that's getting worse! Every time I'm in that store there's always a customer complaining about the service there! Avoid this nightmare store and go to Auto Zone or O'rieleys just down the street! PS: One time when I bought a new battery, I now remember as he was wheeling the battery up front on the cart he was wiping the battery down cleaning it... why did they have to clean up a new battery? It appears Advanced Auto is taking in the returned bad batteries and putting them on a charger then selling them as new batteries!!!

    Just needed a return or swap out of my cable, the big guy with the scruffy beard throws my part…read moreback to me and says "these are good parts, we use them here, nothing I can do for you" I go to the other Advance store and they just gave me a different one no questions asked! Is it really that hard to simply offer customer service rather than be in a love affair with the other female employee?
