There was a "live" person who answered. I was instructed to call back the next day so they could assess the situation. No problem. The next morning at 8am (New Year's Eve), I called back. The lady said that the wrecker would be at my place by 9am. Sure enough, the gentleman was at my apt. exactly at 9am. He was extremely nice, as was the lady who answered the phone call. I highly recommend Laramie Towing! (Reviews are 4.8 out of 5. You can't beat that!!)

Untrustable shop! The worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic. We live in a small town and I…read moredont know why they did this gamble with their reputation?!! Here is the story: I got an appointment for a regular service on my Mercedes 2011 E350 with 120k miles 2 weeks ago. I asked about the cost of service and been told "we dont know and need to check what Mercedes instruction is". Fair enough. I left the car with them yesterday morning and havent received any update until I called them today at noon. They said "we have been working on your car yesterday and today and it'll be ready late this afternoon". Anyway, I went there at 5:00 pm and been told that it takes time to prepare the worksheet!! Come back at 6:00 pm. When I asked about the cost, I heard we dont know yet! When I went back the first thing they showed me was a screen on the computer that shows different services for Mercedes cars and some numbers which he explained as the labor cost "if you take your car to dealership" and said "it will exceed $900-$1000 just for labor". Very nasty trick to throw a high price for a psychological shock and then hit you with lower price with relief. Anyway, he put $537 bill in front of me and said "thats half of dealership charges!" When I confronted him about it and asked why you didnt tell me the cost and you shouldn't do things without consulting with me (customer), he said "you didnt say you have a LIMIT so I fixed your car". WTF does that mean and how does this justify a fat bill??? To be clear, my car was not broken and it was fully functional with no significant problem. At the end he lowered the bill to $388 but its the worst way of doing business. As a first time customer, my experience was horrible and I found too many red flags to not trust this shop.

Spoke with a very helpful individual named Adam. I got his info as to where to have AAA tow our car to. Adam had someone stay until 9:00 pm to take our car in. I called Adam the following morning to see what the diagnosis was and what it would cost to repair. Unfortunately after 240,000 miles the engine gave out. I told Adam I would get the car towed home to Denver. I asked what I owed him. No cost was his answer. Solid service should be recognized. Thank you Adam & VDR Foreign Auto. Five Star Service. They charged me over $3,600 to tow my truck less than a mile, which is outrageously overpriced. After doing some research, I found that other companies would have charged less than $1,000 for the same service. Also I believe my truck was never towed so there's an ongoing investigation because we believe it actually got driven to their yard and just keep saying we have proof it didn't but they don't prove it so they are definitely bluffing. The computer of the truck will indicate if it got driven or not so it's at the dealership as we speak. When I tried to resolve this issue by speaking to the owner, Thomas Mullan, I was completely ignored. The staff refused to connect me with him or even discuss the matter. It was clear they had no intention of resolving my concerns or explaining why the charge was so exorbitant. This company clearly lacks business ethics and operates without any sense of fairness or customer service. They are taking advantage of people in need and refusing to be accountable for their actions. I strongly recommend avoiding I-80 Towing if you value transparency and reasonable pricing. Save yourself the hassle and the money - go with a more honest and professional towing company
