I have taken my vehicles to Klaus for minor and major repairs for many years. He is absolutely…read morethorough, fair, and honest. He does not take short cuts; rather, he takes the time needed to fix your vehicle and he documents each stage of a major repair. He put a rebuilt transmission into my Honda Odyssey; during this big, expensive job, he showed me everything he had to do and how long it would take. And even though it took longer than the book estimate on labor time, he only charged me what the book said it should be. If my car needs a repair of any kind, I know I can count on Klaus and his mechanics to do a great job. Unlike many dealerships, he will not hunt around for additional work to bump up your bill; but if he's working on your engine's fuel injection and he observes that the fuel pump is on the verge of failing, he will advise you and give you the option of getting that fuel pump fixed. And as an added bonus, he's warm and friendly and explains everything that needs to be done to fix your car. I give him my highest possible recommendation.

There was a "live" person who answered. I was instructed to call back the next day so they could assess the situation. No problem. The next morning at 8am (New Year's Eve), I called back. The lady said that the wrecker would be at my place by 9am. Sure enough, the gentleman was at my apt. exactly at 9am. He was extremely nice, as was the lady who answered the phone call. The driver called me right away and told me he was on his way up the pass. When he arrived, he was incredibly kind and asked if I was ok. I then sat in the cab while he loaded my car up. We had a really good conversation on our way back to Laramie and he recommended some shops for me to take my car to. He asked if there was anything else he could do to help. Fast forward to the next morning, I called the shop again to see about a tow from my friends apartment to the only shop that would take it. The same driver called me again and let me know he was about 5 minutes away. He took me and my car to the shop. While he was leaving, I tried to give him a tip for all of his hard work not once but twice. He refused and said that I didn't need to do that. He was incredibly honest, kind, and patient with someone who doesn't know a lot about cars. I will recommend this shop to everyone who passes through because of the quality of service I received.

They charged me over $3,600 to tow my truck less than a mile, which is outrageously overpriced. After doing some research, I found that other companies would have charged less than $1,000 for the same service. Also I believe my truck was never towed so there's an ongoing investigation because we believe it actually got driven to their yard and just keep saying we have proof it didn't but they don't prove it so they are definitely bluffing. The computer of the truck will indicate if it got driven or not so it's at the dealership as we speak. When I tried to resolve this issue by speaking to the owner, Thomas Mullan, I was completely ignored. The staff refused to connect me with him or even discuss the matter. It was clear they had no intention of resolving my concerns or explaining why the charge was so exorbitant. This company clearly lacks business ethics and operates without any sense of fairness or customer service. They are taking advantage of people in need and refusing to be accountable for their actions. I strongly recommend avoiding I-80 Towing if you value transparency and reasonable pricing. Save yourself the hassle and the money - go with a more honest and professional towing company
