At first I thought it was a little bit steep for the two dresses and two pairs of shoes that I bought at $37 but at the same time I did get 2 dresses that were Michael Kors & Talbots. The shoes were Crocs and Noat. They often have a lot of great deals and specials, like this week was half off green tags! I feel like I see the same dresses every time I'm in the shop. Decent selection of non-resale accessories, but (and I'll admit this was several visits ago so I don't know if it's still happening), I've spotted fake designer handbags here. So, if that's what you're looking for, buyer beware. And Karen, it's not legal to sell fake bags. Consigning here is pretty easy and I've had decent success in my items selling. However, if something doesn't sell and you fail to pick it up they will donate it. And they won't give you a reminder call that your consignment is up, so it's on you as the seller to be organized enough to remember that date. I lost a high end piece by not paying attention to my calendar. My fault, I know. But worth pointing out. But I have to say, beyond the clothes or selling process here, the thing that always strikes me the most when I go to Karen's is how grumpy and unfriendly their staff is. It's pretty ridiculous. It's retail. Would it kill these girls to smile and say hello? Apparently it might.

The recommendation is for ANYONE who has been a victim of fraud from this business to file a complaint so the State can gather enough evidence to investigate. Filing a small claims lawsuit is not possible due to it being her word against mine regarding what items actually sold. Given the complaints from the Facebook page (she conveniently removed) and the others who have reached out via FB messanger this store contiunes to steal from consignors.
