The facility itself is pretty big, and they have their beauty product storefront in the lower level. The one part I don't like about this place is the issues I have when they are calculating your bill. I've had mishaps on my bill every time I have gone. I'm usually able to catch it there is a mistake, but on one visit I did not and had to contact their help center. They were very nice about it and credited my account. But the next time I came, it was not automatically applied to my bill. So I have about $12 in credit left here according to my Klarna account so hopefully it can be applied on my next visit.

She was highly recommended by a friend, so I stepped out and gave her a try. Her treatment plan was very conservative - and I really wanted to be more aggressive (after all, this was my FACE). My regular dermatologist came back to town and diagnosed me with acute skin lupus - so I was able to begin a treatment plan. However - Dr Billano has the zen of injectables, according to my friend - so I let her do my botox. She was PERFECT - it's very easy to over-inject my brows, leaving me with a bit of a droopy eyelid and she completely understood my concern and did a perfect job. My forehead was smooth and youthful and my eyelids remained exactly as they were. So - even today - I go to Dr Billano for cosmetic dermatology, and my other dermatologist for problems and issues.

UAB Dermatology was absolutely the best! They were very caring towards my mom and provided her undivided attention. When booking a medical appointment a credit card is required. Not a cosmetic appointment but medical appointment. I have never had to give credit card info to any other medical office. Because I really wanted my daughter to see Dr. Dyck I went along with it. Our appointment was about 3 months out. When we arrived, we were brought back quickly. During the work up I told the medical assistant that my daughter had developed a 3rd problem while we waited for the appointment. She made note and did not mention there was a 2 problem per visit limit. Dr. Dyck came in soon after the work up. She assessed the 2 problems I reported when I scheduled the appointment. Once she addressed those issues I noticed she was leaving so I asked her about the 3rd problem. Dr. Dyck turned around abruptly and looked at me as if I said something offensive. She responded with "I only address 2 problems during a new patient visit". I then replied I have never heard of a limit on problems addressed during a medical appointment but had I known of course I wanted her face addressed first. She turned around and did not say another word and exited the room. The medical assistant attempted to clean it up by saying the doctor will address her face when she comes back for a follow up. Of course a follow up was not scheduled. I was highly disappointed with the doctor's rude behavior.
