They played in the large play area that has a toddler section all the way to older climbing playgrounds, including swings and a zip line. This is a very nice park with an excellent walking trail and photo opportunities with a big circular sunflower. There is another smaller parking area of the street where you can park and use exercise equipment that they have installed. They also have electric charging stations for electric vehicle vehicles in the parking section. There are bathrooms as well. There is a sign detailing the park and areas to go. I believe there is another place section near a coffee shop/hotel that is nearby. We could have driven to that area, but we remained in the area we were currently at. Most of this park is in sun except the exercise area. I believe that was in shade.

My running club…read moremeets here every so often and we can either run to mid American Nazarene university which is about 2 1/2 miles away or go in the opposite direction and run for miles and miles. Unfortunately there is no water here but there is a trashcan and a porta-potty. so if you're in the area be sure to stop by and use this wonderful trail for running biking rollerblading walking. it's great for everything.

Which is too bad because they've recently made improvements to it. The playground is new, less than 4 years old I'm guessing. It's not the best design for little kids under 2. It's got a lot of climbing involved. In order to reach the slide you've got to climb around in this spider web of ropes. It's very neat, but hard for little kids to navigate and reach the slide. They do have swings and a merry-go-round available as well. There is a huge shelter available with picnic tables under it. They also have a water fountain with dog dish attachment and a bike repair station. They do not have bathrooms available at this time. Hope they add some soon!
