Zach seems like a great guy. I hate to slam the job he did but so many things could have been…read more improved. Like finishing the job. The shower curtain door only had sealant on the bottom. The grout wasn't sealed. Water didn't bead and soaked right in. The shower control handle was mounted at an angle. I paid him around the 6th of January, he didn't start work until the 20th. There were several delays of wich some were the responsibility of my wife and myself, others were snow, flat tire, had to replace the brakes and had to replace a starter. I had to clean up after his crew everyday. Grout equipment had been cleaned in the bathroom sink causing a clog. He sent someone to run a snake down the pipe and that kid said (after I'd removed the trap and poured out sand) that the pipes were just rusty and it wasn't their fault at all. I had to clean up after him. By February 25, I gave up, sealed the grout, caulked around the shower door, filled in some holes and started working on the drywall. Update, March 7th. Zach was out of town when I posted the review. He did come over, review the room and agree with most of what I pointed out. He will send over folk to complete the bathroom and is being more than fair about it. Don't make the mistakes I made (not contacting him with problems or concerns) and I know you'll be satisfied with his work.

We were originally satisfied with the work done, however over winter the concrete broke apart and continues to deteriorate. It's full of deep holes and is now the worst part of our driveway despite the rest being 25+ years old. After contacting Kent Home Services, we were told it was due to salt damage and would not be covered under the warranty. After explaining that we didn't salt, only shoveled, and rarely even parked on the extension, they declined to correct the problem. They claimed it was from our cars, even though we didn't park on it. They were lined up with excuse after excuse as to why it wasn't covered, ultimately claiming "Michigan Weather" as the result. Again, all other concrete work has lasted 25 years without issue. While we followed the recommendations listed under their warranty, they declined to honor it. I'd understand if there were a few chips or small cracks, but the entire extension is falling apart. It's absolute junk. Not even suitable for the kids to play on as we had hoped. It's clear this is poor quality work. I can't not recommend them enough. I'm incredibly disappointed that we've wasted thousands of dollars. If you're looking for a company with integrity, go elsewhere.

Nothing happened for a while though when I reached out again to them, we got a call the next day from Kal and all traces of attitude were gone. He came out to inspect the blinds and then just left. We had to call to find out what was going on and he said he needed parts to fix the blind or would have to replace the whole thing. This is kind of funny since one of the only times he answered our calls during the 9 months of trying to get this fixed he said he was waiting on parts to come from Mexico. Then the time I got ahold of him in March, he told us that he's had the parts for a while. I guess neither of those were true. We've had to call him multiple times for updates and now he says he is once again waiting on parts and told us with an annoyed voice that he would call us when he had them. I guess we are back to having to call regularly to see this resolved.
