We stopped here for some drinks and snacks because it was super hot on this particular day We didn't need gas so we pulled up to the door. This is a nice spot to get your grub and move on. I can't stand going into this gas station. The people that work here are extremely rude and they move like turtles. Don't go thru the drive thru if your in any kind of hurry what so ever. They definitely will never get another penny from me I'll either go to the citco across the way where the people are a lot more pleasant or drive the few extra miles to go somewhere else for sure. I came into the service station every day (sometimes twice). I always bring my little baby shih tzu and sleep in my arms as he's only a puppy. I never put him down the whole time in the store. He literally sleeps in my arms. The Arab men who work there are always nice and had never complained. A new white woman was working today. I had never seen her. Naturally she began criticizing me about bringing my puppy inside of the nasty convenience store and that I was forbidding to bring him back Inside. I explained that he is just a baby and stays in my arms the whole time, thus bothering no one. She still said it was against the rules (I asked her to show me the rules as it's nowhere posted), but she couldn't come up with anything. I told her I would respect her wishes, but that I would never be back. And I shop there EVERY DAY. It's a shame some people want to be so petty. She would rather me leave my dog outside in the scalding weather than to keep him sleep in my arms. He's just a bay for goodness sake. It's not like he was large or aggressive. Really made me lose respect for this establishment. I'd rather pay more and go everywhere where management doesn't have sticks so far up their backsides. read more

The newer tall guy needs to go. He has been rude many times but yesterday was the worst. I paid for a pack of cigarettes with a 20 and he brings me back a dollar. Do you think I'm that stupid? When I said, I paid with a 20 he just glared at me and said "really?". But he gave me my proper change anyway. It did not seem like a mistake so although I love the convenience of the drive through, I won't be going back where they are trying to steal my money. Unleaded is cheaper if you pay cash. If you pay by C.C. you are charged 8 cents more which to me means that they don't want to pay the c.c. fee ... but we do. GO to Citgo! !! read more

This place advertises gaz prices BEFORE TAXES (2,29 per gallon) and actually charges 2,38 per gallon with small writing saying this includes taxes. I have never seen this before and most people do not notice, thinking they are paying 2,29 per gallon, all included. I hyave lodgerd a complaint because this is dishonest. read more

I was impressed with the condition and selection inside the store and the landscaping outside. The customer restroom is another story. Two huge EMPTY toilet paper holders and NO soap in the dispenser, plus dirty walls and floors. I expect much better from a Sunoco Station. I will go to Rally's from now on, which is only a few blocks up. read more

Because of the higher cost per gallon for using a credit card is THE reason I no longer go here even though it is very lose to my house.

I only recently moved from Miami to Saint Petersburg but I've been going to this Sunoco for years because my partner lives in Gulfport. I don't typically get my gas here because I get 5 cents off per gallon at shells gas stations but I do love the convenience store. They have the most delicious slushies I have ever tried (and I've tried many). I now go there nearly every day to buy slushies and other things because it is right around the corner from my partner's place. The people there know me and they know my partner and our kids. They are really nice and friendly. They also have a drive thru, which is so cool and incredibly convenient. Most gas station convenience stores do not have this so I think this definitely adds to the greatness of this particular gas station convenience store. They also have a lot of other great stuff. I just stopped in to grab a donut and hot chocolate for my daughter on the way to school. They open at 5am, which is very convenient because a lot of places are closed this early in the morning. Overall, I must say that this place is the best convenience store I've ever frequented and I can't say enough good things about it. I highly recommend checking this place out if you live nearby or are in the area. read more
