Just needed diesel &def to get home to Boston but the pumps "sometimes don't work rite","if it pumps slow,just be patient". $130 all I got for the stretch home. Do transaction at register & go to pump...DEF DONT WORK, DIESEL DONT WORK. I go back in & am told she has to change the pump, sure how about 15? Ok I go to pump. SAME THING. I GO BACK IN & APPARENTLY SHE SAID SHE HAD TO CANCEL THE WHOLE THING.. Well when should I get my money cause id like to go home... "I canceled so it should be immediate but AT MOST ONLY 5 DAYS" Contact my own customer support & they cant do anything because my money is in "Limbo" on the stores end. Never again will I ever set foot on this property. The subtle way they don't give a shit resonates like the fire of the sun. I give a negative rating if possible. You should tear this one down & rebuild. You're pumps look like they belong on disability. Meanwhile you got the pretty & new ones in the front. Oh but the diesel doesn't work for the front ones, rite. Sooooo.... When can I get my MONEY so I can gas up &leave. Crickets read more

8pm stoped off at Gulf service station, went in to convenience store and purchased hot coffee self serve, only to be told at register that they have no more milk creamer for any hot beverages. Still insisted to ask for full price. Less the missing creamer. I was told that they were very buzzy to day. Is that not the point of a rest area for buzzy long distance. Drivers. read more

Guys Usually Love Fuel. Which is why you will see me hanging out at gas stations a little bit more often than is necessary. Okay a lot more often. Acronyms FTW. As I've said before.. I'm really not into gas stations on the Thruway, pay-per-drive highway, or the pike as it is called in these parts. Because they give you little option due to the fees charged to get off the road. So everybody has to use them and therefore they create a monopoly and charge exorbitant prices. Massachusetts is a cheap state for gas but not if you are on this toll road. However at least it's here and has saved me from running out of gas on a couple of ridic occasions. Open 24 hours and it works which is better than I can say about some gas stations. And for all you know I could be the worst cornet player in the whole world. read more

At the top of the mountain along the Mass Pike, this travel plaza is one of my favorites when traveling along I-90. Not a lot of parking for big-rigs, though. Get there early if you need to park for a while. read more

These are the pumps at the first service area on the Mass. Pike eastbound, in Lee, just before Exit 2. If you're traveling on I-90, it's your first chance for gas that's typically cheaper than in New York, though gas is sometimes slightly cheaper at the next area or 2, and most likely cheaper if you get off the Pike at Exit 2. Plenty of pumps, so almost never a wait. The rest area has decent offerings too. read more

This is the last place to buy gas before you hit the NY border and it goes up anywhere from 10-30 cents per gallon. I stop there frequently for that reason. The bathrooms are usually pretty clean, and the coffee they sell is pretty good (also much cheaper than McDonald's coffee sold 20 feet away). There are a lot of pumps, so there's usually not much of a wait, and there's also a decent number of parking spaces so people can pull away from the pump before going inside. read more
