The gaslighting by this company is absurd. Over 2 weeks ago, I had my exam, picked out frames, glasses, ordered and paid for them. I was told they would call in about 2 weeks to pick up my glasses once they were ready. Well today, after the 2 week deadline, I receive a phone call thinking my glasses are ready for pickup. No. They were calling to ask if I still wanted to order my glasses and frames. What?! I did all that and was under the impression they were ordered and I was just waiting for pickup. When I asked what happened because you told me you were ordering them 2 weeks ago during my visit and I paid your company. Then she explained her system had a glitch and nothing was ordered for anyone during that time frame. So you might want to lead with that and take responsibility for your fault. Not call and ask if I still want the glasses. That was assumed by the conversation we had 2 weeks ago. "We will go ahead and order these for you and call you in 2 weeks once they are ready for pickup". To try to put the blame on the customer who assumed based on that sentence that you would call me once ready, implies I ordered them from you and since I paid you that also implies that. You had a mess up with your workers or system and you should have lead with that instead of gas light the customer into thinking we did something wrong. I now see the only thing I did wrong was pick the incorrect vision center who clearly has unqualified workers. Also the prices are outrageous even with Tricare Prime insurance. read more

The visit and staff were good; however, even with our insurance, the amount we had to pay was unbelievable. We made the purchase, came home, decided to cancel and get the glasses elsewhere. We were told it was too late, we would have to pay still half of what the cost was because the company was already processing the order. This is just a complete ripoff. From what we paid two years ago, it was over 500% increase. So someone is ripping off someone. All they kept saying was we had really good insurance, so I can only imagine the price without insurance. We will not ever go back there again. This was a complete ripoff. read more

Do not use if you are military , unable to do ANYTHING once you leave the area even if you still have a valid prescription. This office is unable to even fax valid prescriptions to companies like 1-800 contacts. All transactions have to be done in person . Do yourself a favor if your military and use a opthamology chain that is able to use fax machines read more

I am mad ! Had glasses made for my dad there , waited 2 weeks to get them. One week later they start cracking on the top corners , I call and i'm ask to come in they said we can fix them for free cause they are under warranty mean while another week with out glasses for my 85 year old dad . We pick them up and 5 days later they are cracking again on the same spot call them back and they tell me that I have to pay 300+ to get them repaired. Not happy will never go back there again so if you want glasses done right find you another place .... read more

Worse quality ever. Glasses broke less then two months after purchase. Cost me more then $700+ and they are made out of the cheapest hardest plastic I've ever seen. Now taking them back and hopefully getting a refund so I can go somewhere else. read more

Loved the staff and Dr Sahawneh. So friendly & understanding most importantly, he told me something no other doctor had explained to me in the 13 years I've been dealing with my eye problems, which is that I don't have to live with this the rest of my life and if I have an underlying health condition treated than i won't have to go through this every single year. I've spent thousands of dollars and a lot of time in serious pain because no other doctor from South Carolina to the panhandle ever figured out what was wrong & then explained it to me. I am so glad I won't be needing an eye doctor on a regular basis now but it's almost a shame since I finally found one worth the degrees hanging on the wall. Plus, he and the entire staff were just genuinely nice people and put up with my four year old freaking out during my exam. I can not thank, or recommend them highly enough. read more

I am new to Crestview and had, originally, scheduled an appointment with another vision center. Upon my appointment, there were complications with my insurance and it was recommended that I cancel the insurance I had. I ended up cancelling my exam for that day and decided to do more research on other vision centers. Gulf Coast Vision Center was a recommendation by a friend of ours and I am so happy I went to them. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, they had researched my insurance prior to my appointment and, ultimately, saved me an additional $150 than I would have, if I had cancelled as suggested. Been getting my exam and glasses there for several years. Never had any issues with the exam but it seemed that the glasses were rather expensive. Got my exam there this year but decided to shop around for glasses after browsing their selection. Glad I did. The frames here are about twice as much as the other places I looked. My insurance allows $150 for frames and couldn't find any decent ones within range. Went to a couple other places and found the same frames for much less. read more

Fraud!!!! BE VERY CAREFUL OF THEIR BILLING STAFF. I have been to this office a handful of times and each time I question the amount that they're charging me but could never prove that they were doing something wrong. Well, this last time I went in I had a medical condition so they had to bill my medical insurance vs. my vision insurance. Typically I have a $20 copay, but they charged me $96. When I asked why they said it was because I hadn't met my deductible. When the claim was posted to FL blue, the claim stated that I had paid my $20 copay....when actually I paid $96 AND they billed my insurance $96 as well!!!! Fraud!!!! I have contacted my insurance and have sent my bank statement proving I paid it as well. Shame on these physicians! read more

I had an eye emergency and Dr. Reynolds and the staff were wonderful! My eye pressure was so high when I got there that it was beginning to impair my vision. Dr. Reynolds got me right in and stayed after hours to get my eye pressure down to where I could see and he felt comfortable with me going home. The staff never complained about staying late. For once a doctor and staff that truly cares for their patients health. Thanks, Great Job! read more
