I went over the order with their "finance manager," Bernie, and agreed to a price. Several months later, Bernie called and said the truck was delivered to the store and ready to go. We arranged to meet the next Saturday to take delivery. I took it out for a test drive, during which time, he told me he had been with Yaklin for several years and what a great guy Yaklin was. Back at the dealership, we sit down to do the paperwork. As soon as we sit down, Bernie tells me the price went up $500 from the originally agreed on price. I should have walked out right then, seeing they weren't dealing in good faith. But, I had waited months for this one to get delivered, and it might be even longer to get another one built. So I sucked it up and agreed to the price increase. They then seriously lowballed the trade on my old truck, but once again, they sort of had me over a barrel. We went through all the paperwork, and I wrote them a check for the agreed on amount and took delivery of the truck. Five days later, after the check had cleared, Bernie calls and demands that I come back and give them another $5000+. They had made a mistake and wanted me to pay for it. I told him I had paid exactly what they asked for, without even attempting to haggle, and I had no intention of paying another cent. Shortly thereafter, the General Manager, Brandon, called and made the same demand. I explained again that I had paid the full contract price, and they had cashed the check. Contract complete. He stated that they would not register or title the vehicle until I paid. I explained that they could not do that under Texas law and that I would file a complaint with the Attorney General if they failed to do so. He said he would get with his management. I never heard from him again. After 90 days, I filed a complaint. The AG's office pursued the complaint and forced them to provide title and registration about 30 days later. When I went to get the plates, Bernie confronted me and stated that he had had to pay the $5000 out of his own pocket. I told him that some times you make mistakes and have to pay for them. In the following months, I received lawyer letters threatening to sue me if I didn't pay the $5000. Eventually, they did, in fact, sue me. I tried to offer a settlement, just to make it go away and to keep me from paying more than it was worth in lawyers' fees. They rejected a 50/50 split. Their lawyers told me that Mr. Yaklin had told them that he had lots of money and he would spend all he needed to to make me pay this. He told them that they felt like I "took advantage of a new sales associate." Pretty ironic coming from a car dealer who literally does it to their customers every day. I spoke to several lawyers who all said I had a very strong case, but you always stand a chance of losing, and if I did, this would cost much more than $5000 to litigate. I eventually settled for the $5000. I am aware of at least one other case where they sued a buyer because they screwed up the paperwork, and the buyer was forced to settle. They had months to prepare the paperwork and complete all due diligence, but they think that I somehow "took advantage of them." You never expect much integrity from a car dealer, but these scumbags bring it to a whole new level. STAY AWAY! AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

They're your slimy used car salesman. Whatever you do do not engage with these people they want your money and that's all. They bait and switched and lie. The deceptions is their key to business. They try to force a maintenance plan for $1500 on you and when you tell them you don't want it they don't care. I walked out without being ripped off and went to a second place to look for a car, and I made the purchase because they were honest and not deceptive like these conniving thieves. AutoPista speak to one another in a language that no one can understand their value for price paid is overstated. She knew that she wanted a mid size SUV and I got to work looking for her. We looked at a few other dealers in the area but never got any attention or couldn't schedule a good appointment since I live out of town. We called ahead and scheduled a meeting with Reagan Martin to meet with a sales rep. When we got there our rep was waiting outside for us and knew immediately where to take us. After a quick spin around the block we knew we had the right car. The owner, Gary, even stopped by making rounds on the sales floor to meet his customers...how cool is that? Our rep got the car in to be detailed right away so that my mom could drive off once the paperwork was done. They even had an insurance agent on site to help with that aspect right away. I think the best part of Leo Martin Chevrolet is that there is actually a member of the Martin family at the dealership almost all the time. It's a lot more comforting to walk in and know you are working with a great family!

I am naturally skeptical of any used car dealership even more so one that has so many high ranking reviews. I didn't initially believe it and thought they were fake. Boy was I wrong! Joad (Sales Manager) & Zuri (Sales Agent) do business the old school way. They stand behind their product, no B.S. Bait & Switch, and take care of their customers to no end! They offer a 7-day warranty on there vehicles and dont just sell you junk that you have to be worried about breaking down the minute you roll off the lot. They sold me a solid business van for my fleet, that had low miles and it was the cheapest priced vehicle online in the entire country. They are in business for the long haul and understand the importance of reputation. They treat people with the upmost respect regardless of price on car, like some other dealerships. Motors on Wheels went above and beyond for me to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the esthetics and mechanical integrity of my vehicle, which gave me peace of mind! Never experienced this level of customer service and professionalism from any dealership, not even the big manufacturer dealerships. They earned my business for life. I will be purchasing all of my future business vehicles from them!

Purchased my vehicle from there 2 months ago. Joseph assisted with the sales due to the salesperson…read morehelping me was new. Both my key fobs were missing the keys. Signed the paperwork and Joseph said he was going to get the ordered. After 2 weeks I never heard back so I called Joseph and kept getting the run around. Said he would call me back and never would. A month later I called and he told me the same thing. Went up to dealership to get my license plates picked up and Joseph said he was gonna get my keys ordered. Went with him to the service department filled out the proof of ownership form and said he was going to get them ordered. Fast forward ANOTHER month called Yaklin today to see what the status was on my keys only to be told they were never ordered. I have never had such a horrible experience trying to get some keys for my vehicle. If I ever need another vehicle I will be going to another dealership. It's been 2 months and just getting the runaround is ridiculous. I'll include a photo of my key fob. I was told when I purchased it the keys "were probably thrown away." Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm leaving this review in the hope that it prompts real improvement. The service department has…read moreconsistently struggled with customer communication, and unfortunately my recent visit shows those issues haven't been resolved. We brought our car in early morning for brake pads. It is now the next day, we still have no update. We've been calling for over an hour with no answer from anyone in the service department. Delays on repairs can happen, that's understandable. But not communicating with customers, especially when they're without a vehicle, creates real problems for work, school, and daily responsibilities. This isn't the first time I've run into this with the shop. After avoiding the service department for several years, I was hoping things had improved. It seems the lack of competition in the area has made it too easy for these issues to continue. I genuinely hope leadership takes this feedback seriously, because better communication alone would make a huge difference in the customer experience.
