Ask the Community - Gulf Coast Cremations

    Do you cremate pets too?

No we do not. It is actually illegal for a funeral or cremation facility that do cremations for humans to cremate pets, and vice versa. If you are looking for a place that does pets I highly reccomend Sarasota Pet Crematory.

    Do they take payments?

If you are looking to do pre-arrangements for a cremation then yes we do. The maximum time we can do payments is over a 12 month period for that type of an arrangement, anything over that 12 month period and interest would be charged. Also the… Read more

After much discussion, investigation and meeting with several organizations (family owned as well as national), we are very pleased with our decision. We met with Advisor Lacey Shook, several times. Lacey patiently & thoroughly answered all our questions and was wonderful to work with in making our arrangements. The process was straightforward, the price was competitive and covered everything we had hoped. If you are contemplating the decision for pre-arrangement, we highly recommend contacting Lacey. She will guide you through the process, whilst making the experience comforting and reassuring.

(239) 995-1113 Service: Some time ago, my wife and I decided that in order to minimize angst and stress on each other and our daughter, that we would do the right thing and pre-arrange all our final needs and plans while we had clear heads, unburdened by sense of loss and grief. We completed the process with Melissa, a wonderful professional, whose courtesy left us with no unanswered questions. Soon after, by UPS, two beautifully boxed packages arrived. Each contained a helpful assortment of items including a redwood-like container (urn), as well as an excellent book with planning details. Everything was so well organized. If one of us passes away in another state or even overseas, all arrangements to care for the involved are covered, to return that individual back home. Quality: It's not easy to convey the importance of their quality every step of the way. During our session with Melissa, licensed funeral director Ann introduced herself, which was a nice moment. Value: Everyone has to make up their mind at some point regarding these decisions. To leave these difficult plans to your heirs and your loved ones in my opinion is not the best option. Simply making sure that your plans and wishes are carried out entirely as you want them to be carried out,is a gift; to leave these matters to your family in a time of grief can be avoided by preplanning. Summary: While difficult, the step you take in advance of the actual need is a kind act and will be highly valued by those you spare from making tough decisions in the future. Highly recommended.
