They've…read morebeen serving musicians, families, and students for many years, and we truly appreciate the care they put into what they do. We especially admire the many options they provide through their academy, with quality teachers and opportunities to learn a wide variety of instruments. Their annual showcases give students a chance to celebrate what they've learned, and their Goofin' Around at the Keyboard classes offer a fun and unique way for adults to enjoy making music, too. Their store is such a valuable resource for musicians, offering instruments, supplies, and knowledgeable help all in one place. They also play an important role in supporting area school band programs by providing instruments and helping students get the equipment they need to participate. We share the same desire to see people experience the joy of making music and are grateful for the difference Garten's is making in the lives of their students and throughout the Wichita area. We highly recommend Garten's for your musical instrument needs or musical education!

I definitely prefer Midwest over any national chain, not only just because they are local, but they're also conveniently located near College Hill right on Douglas. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. I've never walked in and not been greeted with a smile. They have a cork board right next to their entrance that is covered in posters for all sorts of rad local events and concerts, so you'll never miss out. They offer lessons and have even hosted workshops and meet and greets with some of the top professional drummers in the world. It really is a cool place.

As a long time RV'er I am always looking to enhance our experience at the campground. I always do…read moremy due diligence before making a purchase to achieve my goals - things like reliability, weight and space requirements always plays a part in my decisions when it comes to anything with our motorhome. During my most recent outing I noticed my aging fans and blowers weren't performing at the level they once did and they also were looking their age, so the search for replacement equipment began. After looking at a plethora of options I narrowed down the list to a few that I felt met our needs and the Vornado brand was clearly at the top of that list. I purchased two model 293 air movers, these 16" fans are well built and are made in the USA they come with 3 speeds and the decibel levels are well with in the range I was looking for so we can still enjoy spending time outdoors whether we are watching television or having a conversation with friends. The amount of air these compact fans move is impressive which is not only important for our cooling comfort but they also do a great job repelling mosquitoes and bugs, these pest simply can not occupy a space where the velocity of air movement exceeds their ability to fly or settle. These fans come with a five year warranty that is supported in Andover, Kansas, when used as designed, as with all electric equipment they should always be protected from the elements whether they are in use or turned off and stored. I am very happy with these fans and look forward to enjoying them for many years to come...

Vornado black heater, looks good, and a terrible purchase…read more It broke after the first week, and we had to return it, which is always a pain. It was on backorder. Then that one broke after 3 months, and we bought another one. Then this year we went to turn on the heater we bought last year and it did not work (again). That is three heaters which failed and broke (did not start again). It is great for the people who wanted it fixed and the company fixed it. But I have two other heaters which STILL work that are ten years old. So, I am with Roy, don't waste your money.

Roger did a fantastic job and repaired the stove to perfect functioning condition. Had I known that it was this easy, I would have sent it in a long time ago. Roger did an amazing job. We purchased the 10-person version of a Coleman Skylodge a couple years ago (2024) from their site…read moredirectly. It's no longer showing up as an option their site, though it is still available through their Amazon hub. We wanted to like it. The last Coleman tent we had lasted 12+years. It was great, simply too small at this point and the zipper needed to retire. We went bigger and trusted Coleman because if this. Initial Issue: Faulty Upon Arrival The purchase process was difficult. First one shipped with twisted poles - new design is metal but not great - and the return was complex. Replacement #1 try was completely wrong, they sent a 10x10 canopy. Returned that. Replacement #2 eventually came properly with functioning poles. The whole process took most of the summer of 2024. Long term Issue: Usage Because our state has been updating campgrounds, reservations were sparse and there were two summers without camp trips. This year we finally got to use the tent. First trip, we got lucky and had no rain, only wind. Tent did alright, we were particularly happy with the extra space. We did notice that the fabric was particularly thin looking, and seemed to be pulling apart already at points along the seams. We'd only set it up once at home and on that trip. Definitely not looking like a long term camping solution. Second trip there were storms. The most waterproof part of the 10-person version of this tent was the floor. Rain streamed off the fly and directly through the wall. By morning, even after adding a large tarp, the floor was ankle deep - having held onto all the rainwater that came pouring in through the walls. (Thankfully we had most stuff in totes, just in case.) I now feel like we have a very expensive screen room that won't hold up to rainstorms. So maybe a sun shade?

Get there and I'm sorry, jeweler says his torch was not hot enough because my band was so thick. But some place in KC could do it for them. They thought it was acceptable to wait 13 days to tell me after they sent a computer generated message saying my beautiful item was DONE and ready for pickup. Most ridiculous customer service I have ever seen. Told them and expect them to remove me from all mailing and email & text solicitations. in addition, my coworker also had a bad experience several weeks before at the same store. I should have known but I thought I'd give them a chance. Wrong choice as I found out. The salesperson knew I was waiting for it to set a date with the court to get married. Way to go Helzberg. Never again.

I've been in this store before, and found it to be pretty pretentious, but no more than any other high-end store. What really bothers me is that we had this ring inspected, so we know that it is in great shape, and in need of no major repairs. All we wanted was to have the band welded to the engagement ring, and the jeweler here told us we needed to have the prongs reinforced and over a hundred dollars of other stuff that more than one jeweler has already told us we don't need. Not Cool! There is no way that anyone is working on this ring unless absolutely necessary, it's too precious! It may not be worth anything in monetary value, the sentiment is too important to let an unscrupulous jeweler have it. Good thing we already knew what was up!
