A personal situation arose and when I picked it up I could not play it for weeks. When I finally did, the E string (5 string bass) rattled like a snake. I called immediately but their "warranty" on the work expired. I took it in for work early Sept. 2025, called them early Nov. 2025. Roughly 2 months. Okay. Cross Danny D's off my list. GUITAR CENTER makes it affordable and easy. Their prices are the same as the competition... More importantly, they trust you for 45 DAYS to test your new keyboard. I went through several purchases until I settled on one. Can you imagine the shipping costs I would have endured to return several online purchases? By now return shipping would have equaled the price of the keyboard... BUT GUITAR CENTER never charged me for restocking... not one cent, ever. Now more about the Motto to my story... I am talking about the best store manager ... His name ironically is Andy Motto. Andy Motto's interest, professionalism, and patience with me made it all happen successfully. He has been with me on my journey that started one year ago... For example, my recent purchase in February 2025 had a couple of bad keys. My oldest won the All-State Musician for Musical Theater when they were 6 thanks to the education they received at Harmony. Both of my children received Outstanding awards most years as well, which is like the "runner up" to the all-state winner. They both had different teachers at different times and learned new things from each. The flexibility of the studio to provide different instructors whenever a change is needed is invaluable. My husband also took Guitar lessons from Tony and learned a lot! He wasn't looking to perform, just to play for himself, and Tony was able to create a lesson plan tailored to his specific needs. Here is the best part though, when picking up my Martin, I inquired about them fixing one of my other guitars for me. I have an old guitar that was broken around 2005, and all this time thought was a lost cause due to other shop saying it couldn't be fixed, however after showing it to Mike and Chase, they were willing to try and fix it, and they did! It was broken some 19 years ago, and this whole time it's gnawed at the back of my mind that it was broken and would never be properly playable ever again, and they were able to fix it, for $97!!! They took a sadness that has been hanging on my shoulders for almost two decades, something I've always been mad about with how it was broken, and lifted that sadness away. Truly amazing, and I'm so grateful for their expertise. Plus, they're exceptionally personable and nice, which is everything you want when needing help.
