However, I've had to file a complaint since Jason and I argued over an intake form not being filled out. I told him that I tried to fill out the form, but he gave me attitude - he said "I don't know what the problem is, it's not hard to fill the form out". I offered to take a screen shot of what I saw. I also offered to arrive earlier for my appointment, so that I could fill hardcopy versions of the paper out. He expressed that electronic forms were better for them. If my intention, was to fill the form out, but that in using one link that he sent me, didn't result in my finding the Intake Form, why would he lose his cool and give me attitude. I also asked him about a question from his website, about a free 15 min. consultation - which at first he flat out denied in having. Ok, so when I wrote the first review about THC, I was still in the process of trying to concieve…read more Basically: I believe that I am pregnant right now thanks to a combination of many factors, but one of those factors that was key was the acupuncture treatments from Jason at THC. Back story: DH and I were TTC for about 8 years. Issues that came up included stuff like: fibroids, gluten intolerence, vit D deficiency, Hypothyroidism (hasimotos'), Electromagnetic feilds, Genetic incompatibility with veganism, stress and a large list of other stuff. Like I said: it was 8 years!!! We were at our 3rd fertility clinic by this time and they sat us down and said to me (and my hubby, but it was about me only): "well: you are now 40 years old, your BMI means you are obese and you have an AMH level that is really low (meaning low ovarian reserve usually). If you have IVF, it probably won't work." I was devastated. After a bit of discussion with my hubby: we knew we still had to try IVF because we had come so far and we just had to. So, we set out to maximize our chances. Hubby worked on perfecting his vitamin levels with supplements (zinc and EFA's especially) and I started Acupunture. We knew that it would take at least 3 months for any changes due to acupunture to kick in, so we planned to have the IVF 3 months from that time. Jason helped me many ways: He/acupuncture helped me lose a bit of weight. As a large person it seems I've been trying to lose weight always. So this was great! And it has been proven to help with fertility. I also believe that I was calmer as a result of acupunture. I needed to have a boost to my egg production and make my ovaries strong and eggy. I believe the acupuncuncture I got at THC was responsible for increasing my egg production. I also would wager that my hormones were balanced via acupuncture. I would highly recommend Jason/Traditional Healing Center for this type of treatment based on my successful results. Here are the results of the IVF treatment: I had 10 folicles that resulted in 4 eggs. 3 of those eggs were mature enough to be fertilized. Of those 3, 2 became fertilized and divided. They were transfered back to me and one managed to hang on! I am absolutely delighted to say I'm 10 weeks pregnant as of Aug 3! The money we invested in IVF was huge. we were so tight for money! But I am so glad we invested what was comparably a tiny amount in Acupuncture treatments at THC because it clearly made a difference in the outcome.

Midwives provide an excellent personalized level of service and support that you just can't get with an OBGYN. You can have a hospital birth with a midwife is you are not comfortable with an idea of a home birth. One of your midwifes will be there at your birth, that's a near guarantee. Meanwhile, getting your OBGYN to attend your birth is a crap-shoot with very low odds. Diversity Midwives is a wonderful clinic and I've had a great experience there. My home birth ended up being an emergency C-section but my midwife stayed with me the whole time, reassured me and made me feel comfortable. She was my cheerleader and made sure that my and my son's best interests stayed paramount. Midwives rock! This was my second pregnancy and if I have more kids, I'm definitely going to choose midwives again! Mehrnaz and Elena, we love you!

There are well trained nurses to help get you settled in. They even have their own blood lab so you can get your blood test immediately without having to go to a lab and wait in line! Awesome ! The doctors are all really nice and they seem to have varying schedules and good coverage for hours. Walk-ins are excepted after 5 pm on most days. There is also minimal waiting for your appointments because they do over book patients for doctors. Usually called in in a few minutes. My daughter had a walk in visit due to vomitting and saw Dr. Krishna. He gave us some advice and said it was going to be fine. The next day to my surprise, I got a call personally from Dr. Krishna to check up on my daughter to make sure she was doing okay. This is definitely above and beyond the current level of health care standards in Ontario. Hopefully more doctors can be as compassionate and spend the time to care for their patients.

I have been coming to this pharmacy for years. My doctor's office used to be a couple of doors down…read morefrom it. Recently, my doctor moved her office across the street. Despite the relocation, I still drive over here to get my prescription filled. This pharmacy takes your drug insurance information and enters it into the pharmacy's system. Every time you come, you can either provide your phone number associated with your account or, if you are a regular, the pharmacist will find you in the system without asking a single question. I find that this place often waives the co-pay fee off. I also pay far less than I would at a major pharmacy for my medication. I also like the fact that folks take the time out to show you how things work. In my case, I needed an inhaler for my bronchitis. My pharmacist showed me how to properly use it to provide the correct drug dosage each time. I appreciated it. He will also look at my drug history and confirm changes since my last visit. It's good. The hours of operation aren't like what you'd expect from a major pharmacy. However, they do work nicely for me. It is rare that this place runs out of the drug that you need. When it does, it offers delivery for free. It's a nice touch. I wouldn't change going to this pharmacy unless I move! (134)
