My primary physiotherapist was Joanne. My first visit, she put me through several exercises to assess my injury. The next step was to go over recommended exercises to help with my recovery. She let me know that if I had any reservations about being in the common area with everyone else, they were able to set me up somewhere else. Not every physio facility is able to do that so this was definitely a bonus. Subsequent visits were more treatment oriented like using the TEMS machine and some soft tissue treatment. They had assistants of both genders and I was asked if I was okay being treated hands on by those of the opposite gender. The staff are all very pleasant and courteous. Very happy to have my treatments here.

Under their first-rate care, I achieved full range of motion within eight weeks, and was able to perform most everyday tasks without pain or difficulty. The effective exercises, guidance and advice helped me through the recovery process with unexpected haste, and I had regained great mobility in a short period of time. All three are kind and personable, and made the recovery process much smoother and more pleasant than it could have been. Thanks!! See my earlier reviews for additional detail. The office staff is friendly and welcoming, and the clinic is very clean and comfortable. All staff and clinicians are flexible and accommodating with appointment booking. My husband is also very happy with the therapeutic massage treatments that he receives here. Excellent clinic!!

I usually go for therapeutic massage and chiropractic, but I've had a few appointments for physiotherapy and acupuncture. They don't expect tips, which is good. They cancelation period is typically 24 hours prior. There is a receptionist who can handle appointments too. Service by every practitioner I've used and every receptionist is excellent. There is a comfortable waiting room. There is free WiFi. The clinic is wheelchair accessible. There are no customer washrooms, but there are washrooms closeby in the hospital. There is paid neighbourhood street parking and a paid parking lot. Review 2024-236

Dr. Barb Smith is the doctor at this establishment. I've been coming here on and off for over 8 years and have been thoroughly satisfied with their services. The office is open concept and the atmosphere natural and friendly. Leslie is usually the attendant you meet upon arrival and she's a real treat as well. Dr. Barb will tailor the service to your specific needs. For instance, I prefer not to have manual neck manipulations, so she uses activator only in that area. Dr. Barb also monitors my knees and ankles for wear & tear from my active joint-cracking lifestyle. She's also got a wealth of knowledge in homeopathic products and nutrition, so don't hesitate to seek her expertise on those fronts if you employ her service. Regular treatments are $40, so hence the three-star review, however I think that may be close to the current industry standard.

My initial…read moresession was scheduled via their website that sent me a reminder for the date and time; easy peasy lemon squeezy considering a good number of us are glued to our smartphones daily. I arrived at my session a little bit early and from a first glance, the clinic was clean and bright. The receptionist was friendly and greeted me promptly. Dan met with me to discuss what my goals are, asked me to stand straight, do a few basic exercises like squatting down, balancing on each leg and touching my toes. He then examined my posture, and we came to an agreement that I wouldn't need more sessions beyond 2. He was happy to show me the homework exercises in their mini gym and correct/modify anything you may be doing incorrectly. Dan was so eager to send me my homework that I received it in my inbox 5 minutes after leaving the building. He is an absolute gem in the neighbourhood. While there may not be heaps of reviews on Yelp about BP Physiotherapy, the clinic does have rave Google reviews! They have fair prices and accept insurance. No Amex unfortunately :(

I got into a pretty bad car accident back in December and messed up my wrist. I had to find a place to get some chiro, massage and physio done. I needed the whole package. I've never gone through anything like this before and needed a ton of paperwork done by whatever clinic I chose. I was recommended to FIT Clinic by a friend and he assured me that Dr. Rashaad was really good at taking care of the paperwork. Sick. This was literally one of my biggest worries. Someone who knew how to deal with insurance papers. Long story short, I'm so glad I chose this place to get my treatments done. I am basically at 95% back to normal. I don't really think your body parts get fully back to normal after an injury, however, there is a big difference from when I started to now. I started my treatments back in January and still have a couple left. I could barely move my wrist without complaining, when I first started and now I'm full force back in the gym, 5 days a week. I enjoy coming in for my treatments as Rashaad (Chiro), Farzana (RMT) and Himja (Physio) are always a pleasure to talk to. It's like we're old friends! One thing I have to mention is Farzana is hella strong yo. I've gone to several female AND male RMTs and no one has been stronger than Farzana. She will literally murder your knots and straighten you out. TRUST me. Obvz, just tell her if it's too much though lol. Booking is also super easy too. I'm a last minute person with making appointments and they always seem to be able to fit me in. Even if it's day of. I really could go on about this place but this review is getting hella long. Basically, you won't be disappointed getting treatments done here. And thanks to the team for helping me recover!
