Out of this world customer experience at every visit and interaction…read more First utilized this bank in the process of buying a home after losing mine in a fire. The loan team was courteous, approachable, friendly and welcomed any and all questions I have. Years later I'm still a faithful patron and have gotten to know lots of the nice folks at my local branch who remember me and greet me by name when I arrive. They are also so involved in the community and I hear even offer paid time off to their workers to volunteer. Highly recommending for your personal accounts!

I reached out to Elevations (before I read all the reviews here and on another site). I was put in touch with Jake Gallo, who I believe is at this branch. Well, at first, I was so happy to hear, with the info I gave him, that they could put me in a loan with very favorable terms. I was excited enough to let him pull my (excellent) credit and started uploading all my docs. They came back pretty quickly with an OK, you're in, but by then I had read reviews. And this was for a "portfolio loan," meaning Elevations would keep my loan as part of their portfolio. But it also means that they can make up their own rules. And I started asking questions. I asked questions in writing, asked for answers in writing. Some questions were answered and some were glaringly NOT, such as "will Elevations actually be asking for assets as collateral?" His answer was such a dodge. (Not all asset depletion loans work that way.) I asked for details on all the terms, since it was the first time I had considered a portfolio loan. Jake never answered again. I'm leaving out some details of the potential landmines of having accepted a loan through Elevations, but Jake Gallo apparently made sure that I would't ask further and they weren't going to offer...the truth? Steer clear. There may be something good out there with a conventional loan, but I've never known a Credit Union to have such a bad reputation.

He was generous with his time and thoroughness in setting us right through the process. We felt comfortable each step along the way. Jim was even able to attend our closing to clear up any last minute questions with the lender. We will always point friends to Jim if they need a mortgage.

The experiences I had in 2011 and 2012 with another mortgage company made me very reluctant to ever get involved with real estate again. Nothing was smooth or easy and I never felt confident with whom I was dealing with. In 2013, I purchased an investment property and used Crowder Mortgage. The experience was nothing short of remarkable. Jim held my hand throughout the process and was always available to chat and explain what was going on, what he needed and why he needed it (sometimes our chats lasted over an hour!). Compared with the previous companies we used, who spoke on the phone with us for 20 minutes at most the entire time, this was a breath of fresh air. Jim is incredibly understanding, patient and compassionate, all of which are incredibly important qualities for a mortgage broker. The cherry on top? Jim actually came to the closing, even though the closing was an hour north of his office. Buying or refinancing a home is never easy or smooth, but Jim makes the process as painless as possible. I cannot recommend his services enough.

Brian Manning - A Prime Example of Unprofessional, Rude, and Arrogant Behavior…read more My recent encounter with Brian Manning was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a supposed professional. From the moment we began our interaction, he made it clear that he has no interest in being respectful, courteous, or even remotely professional. His demeanor was dripping with arrogance, and it felt as though he looked down on me the entire time. First and foremost, Brian has an unbelievably rude attitude. Instead of answering my questions or attempting to provide any helpful information, he dismissed me outright as though my concerns were irrelevant. Whenever I tried to clarify something or ask for further explanation, he would cut me off, acting like he was too busy or too important to be bothered. It was shocking to be spoken to in such a demeaning tone by someone who claims to be a professional. His arrogance was next-level. Brian acted as though he was the smartest person in the room, belittling my inquiries and making me feel like an idiot for asking what should have been basic questions. Rather than providing clear or thoughtful answers, he seemed to take pleasure in making the process as difficult and confusing as possible. He went out of his way to be vague, and when I asked for clarification, he responded with sarcasm and condescension. What's worse is his blatant disregard for professionalism. At several points during our conversation, he spoke to me in such a dismissive and mocking way that I was left speechless. His behavior was entirely out of line for someone in his position. I can't understand how someone so unprofessional can hold any role that requires customer or client interaction. Brian also seemed entirely unbothered by the fact that he was coming across as rude and disrespectful. In fact, he seemed to relish in it, as if treating people this way gave him some kind of power trip. It's baffling that anyone with this attitude would be trusted to work with others, as he clearly has no respect for anyone but himself. In summary, my experience with Brian Manning was deeply frustrating and left a lasting bad impression. His arrogance, rudeness, and unprofessional behavior make it impossible for me to recommend working with him under any circumstances. He made what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily difficult and unpleasant. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Brian Manning if you're looking for someone who treats you with basic respect and professionalism--qualities he seems completely devoid of. There are far more competent and respectful professionals out there who deserve your business.

We used both the real estate, and insurance agent he referred and had a great experiences with both. As first time homebuyers, there was a lot for us to learn and Brian was an excellent guide. 2. He was very responsive and almost always available. We bought in a competitive market that required quick communication, fast response to change, and a very fast close. Brian and his team delivered on all of these. I highly recommend Brian and his team.
