Staff wore masks, took temperatures, and made sure we were the only ones in the salon during our appointment slot. I loved my bridal hair and makeup. Neil and his staff did a great job at making all of us feel special and beautiful, and helped me feel comfortable and excited on my wedding day. I escorted a friend to her nail appointment and had cause to be in the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and comforting surroundings of the Ultimate Salon and Spa, located on Main Street for a couple hours. Located at the back of a retail space that occupies a couple tenants (I believe the entire location was once a large restaurant that was subdivided into smaller retail spots when the restaurant closed years back), when you walk in off of Main Street, just head to the back...past the bar and bathrooms....you will find it at the back on your right. Good lighting, earth tones, and dark wood floors, the salon itself is well decorated. Clean lines, not kitchy like often small town salons can feel. The salon itself is also very clean and organized. The ladies that were working at this salon on the day I was there (Lindsay, Rita and Trish if my memory serves me correctly) could not have been more welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Warm and welcoming, but with a classy air of discretion when speaking with you. Lindsay was the nail person addressing my friends nails with a mani and a pedi. Lindsay took the utmost of care with my friends fragile feet and made her feel welcome and comfortable. I say this as a witness, not as a customer. My friends nails looked great upon departure and more importanly, my friend she felt great. The atmosphere in general is light, easy and full of smiles and good humor. Bare Minerals makeup and skincare sold exclusively, Pureology brand hair care (amongst other brands too) and an extensive list of services, the Ultimate Salon & Spa is here to service many beauty service needs. I would absolutely reccomend and will look forward to getting a service done myself the next time I am in town.

Lisa and her two other stylists did such a great job styling my wedding party's hair and Jordan made my hair look beautiful on my wedding day. All the hairdressers were well dressed and had well kept hair, which made me eager to give them my scalp at their will. Now, I am particular because I have thick, curly, dyed hair. I also have a bit of a scalp issue, so I was desperate to find a salon that would give me a personalize experience. My hair dresser's name was Allie (?). And she was incredible. I explained my situation to her and asked a lot of questions about what kind of shampoo/conditioner I should be using. Her 25+ years of experience in her field was filled was useful information to help my hair grow as healthy as possible. She also did not push any products on me, but rather gave me a few recommendations and even a sample! But I just initially came in for a haircut! My hairdresser massaged my scalp for honestly 10 minutes. Unbelievable. My scalp felt like new. The haircut was exactly what I wanted. She put some product in my hair for my curls, and I was in and out under 30 minutes. And I did check out some of the salon products they have. All their products Do not have even Close to the same amount of mark-up prices most Places have. Example. A bottle of pureology shampoo on Amazon runs about $35. Here the same bottle is priced at $21.50. All in all, I really did just get a simple wash and cut. But since the salon was held to such a high standard, I expected it to be a bit pricey. The whole thing turned out to be $15! I find this to be extremely EXTREMELY cheap. Considering that a wash/ cut at Great clips is $16, why not get salon quality as well? I highly recommend anyone to try this place.
