Good lighting, earth tones, and dark wood floors, the salon itself is well decorated. Clean lines, not kitchy like often small town salons can feel. The salon itself is also very clean and organized. The ladies that were working at this salon on the day I was there (Lindsay, Rita and Trish if my memory serves me correctly) could not have been more welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Warm and welcoming, but with a classy air of discretion when speaking with you. Lindsay was the nail person addressing my friends nails with a mani and a pedi. Lindsay took the utmost of care with my friends fragile feet and made her feel welcome and comfortable. I say this as a witness, not as a customer. My friends nails looked great upon departure and more importanly, my friend she felt great. The atmosphere in general is light, easy and full of smiles and good humor. Bare Minerals makeup and skincare sold exclusively, Pureology brand hair care (amongst other brands too) and an extensive list of services, the Ultimate Salon & Spa is here to service many beauty service needs. I was very satisfied with my services and the price, and they used "Paul Mitchell" color, which I appreciated. Cost is always a concern for me and I've spent the last several years going to various hair schools for my cuts, color and conditioning treatments. While this salon is more than I spend at the schools, it is closer to home and saves me travel time/gas and the time saved by seeing a professional here as opposed to a student who is professionally supervised. I will continue to go here as long as it can stay affordable for me.
