Been a patient for over 5 years. My condition is stable and just need to check in to get refills. Apparently, this is too much work for the guidance center. 3/4 of the time I call, I get no answer, no machine. When I do get the machine my calls are returned maybe half the time and always with conflicting information. Last week I finally got ahold from Haubaur's male assistant who reaffirmed my appointment for today. The day after that, I got a call from Haubour's female assistant relaying the same info. Today I got treated like I was stupid because apparently, my appointment is actually next month. This happens way too often to be tolerated anymore. The guidance center usually cites these "miscommunications" to too many patients and not enough staff. Their mismanagement is not my fault nor my problem.
If you have to see someone to get diagnosed, do so. As soon as your condition stabilizes, transfer responsibility of prescription refills to you PCP and never look back. The therapists (when you can see one that takes your insurance and doesn't ditch after 3 months of dealing with the guidance center) are really kind, but the doctors don't give a sh*t. Haubaur didn't even shave the last 3 times I saw him, and no it's wasn't bc he was growing it out; he either over slept or didn't care bc it was a video call appointment. He can't seem to keep any one assistant for more than 6 months at a time.
Again: Get in, get stable, and gtfo. This place is falling apart (literally and metaphorically). read more
